Im not a n00b, well... mabey I am at the forums, oh well. Any ways I wanted to know what the PHP thing was under the color tool.

When you post somehting, As your typing it. theres a tool bar when your typing a thread or post. theres a little paper that says PHP on it
for example VV what does it do?

That is to allow you to insert PHP code(not the actual script, just the code for it), and leave it unadjusted by the forum.

Php code requires strict following of placement of objects and spaces, and color codes the script according to objects and such. Normally the forum would compact it all. That simply prevents that from happening, and marks it as being php code.
