I think an ideal formation for grey doesn't include those units. You'd be harder to beat if you used a standard chanty/bw set.

There is no such thing as a perfect setup, but first you need to determine your style of play. Are you offensive or deffensive, footballkills?

Lol kvon, i must also agree, there is no such thing as the "perfect setup". Although there is such thing as the perfect setup for your style of play. For instance, whether you use a melee rush(i dont suggest it, it is hard to play against good turtlers) or a basic turtle, a chanty turtle, a double chanty turt., a mage bomb, etc. I personally prefer double chanty turtle,i need to get another chanty though, stupid drops, atleast i wont have to worry bout that anymore(hora for going gold!).
You said you like to play offensively, exactly how offensive do you play?

Any grey that hopes to get good must learn how to use chanty, even if they decide eventually that they are going to not use her. If you are offensive, then you have to know how to fight enchantress, because she will be your worst enemy, and you learn how to fight her by using her.

Yeah. You basically know you are going to diconnected when you are facing a grey spread. :p

well, usnless the spread consists of 4 witches, 3 knights, scout, cleric, and an assassin, a d/c is just about the most likely thing to stop you.
