nope, if someone else hadn't made it, I probably would have here. So kudos to knight for doing so :)
My thoughts:
KOTOR originally represented the "everyone is invited" clan. They'd let anyone who wanted in, in. No rules on acceptence or anything. While this was laughed at by some, it was a nice concept. They were a big happy go lucky group with a good foundation.
Now, I guess they've evolved a bit, and have some sort of system in place for inviting people in. Someone invited me into to KOTOR yesterday, but also added, "Well, you could join, but only if *leader name here* thought you'd be ok and your good."
I actually guffawed at this. Do they think that people are gonna suck up to join your group? Maybe the noobest of the noobs would, but anyone with a bit of common sense would just laugh, and join someone else. That sort of thing will really bring down even a long lasting group.
Just my own thoughts :)

Kotr Dissapeared when The nothing made another Kotr on rev and banff and they fell apart after that because there were 2 kotr.

I believe the person you quoted was me, and i did not put any flattery into my invite. I asked you if you would like to join, but it would have to be ok with *leader name here* because he is overly-pushy with co-leaders/recruiters going on his name. (Actually, he flips out) I am sorry if you got the wrong meaning out of that.
EDIT: sorry for the necro, i was away for the week and felt that i should post my thoughts.

No.
The kotr was elite.
It was the Pyro Pyrates that was "the everyone is invited" clan.
The Pyro Pyrates and KOTR were rivals because our clans were opposites.
They were supporters of elitism, we were the anti-elite clan.
We were 2 of the very first clans, before clans were even in the servers.
