I have an idea. Maybe some of you guys, could help make it a reality.

MTV, has the tv show, called "Made" where they take ordinary ppl, and make them into something....

Well, if you dont see where i'm going with this..here's my idea.

Find a nOObly.
Tao vets, train the nOOb.
Turn him gold for a mouth.
See how he does....

Anyone willing to aid me in this idea?

If we can drag a mod into this. :wink2: The only problem is, with the noobs picked, invariably, someone will end up with a dud. Maybe the mod can play them and see if they show any potential before assigning them to a clan?

This is going to sound odd, I'm thinking while typing, but I think every aspect of the noob should be tested. Forum skills, manners, as well as game play. What do you think?

Ok, so which mod should we attempt to drag into this? Any volunteers? Technically it doesn't even have to be a mod. Just a nuetral party.

I don't know about all clan leaders, but I am sure anything involving our clan our leaders are going to want to be a part of it. Do you mean the clans that aren't going to be a part of it?

I think it's an interesting idea, but I don't know if Bills would approve of it. I think it would be great to see someone get a gold acount that actually deserves it. I'm just wondering if we'll see some better players trying to get this gold account by acting like they're new and pretenting themsleves very nicely on the forums. That's the only real flaw I see in the plan. It really is a neat idea. :cool:

Personally, I dont see what bills wouldn't like about it, considering he's getting an extra payment, at the end of this whole thing....

TN, the only problem I see with that idea is how are we going to be sure the leaders are unbiased? I know from personal expierience some who are very biased towards netjak, whether it be positive or negative. I think we need to find someone completely unbiased (which is impossible, so maybe the next closest thing) to choose for us.

Godmic, I'm pretty sure most people will jump at the chance to take part in this once it is set up. However it's pretty easy (for me at least) to tell if someone is actually a noob, or if the person is faking it. Foundaition, for example... Whilst he is a noob, is not a newb. (J/K with ya Foundation, you know I love ya)

Also, this way, the clans will have someone more suited to their type of playing and style. The order of the clans to choose should be baised on... What? By the way... I am inadvertantly offering netjak up to this challenge. I'll have to talk to our leaders and see if they are interested, but I'm sure anything that would boost the clans status would be... excellent.

I was thinking more along the lines of....assigning each clan a number, and each nOOb a number, randomly. Then letting it happen that way...i dunno, just a thought.:)

How would you do the initial selection of noobs of whom to pick randomly though? Most noobs don't visit the forums, and selecting them from the servers would be pretty unreliable.

The problem I have with the clan getting a prize, TN, is the fact that the teaching clan would then be competing, and therefor drawing the attention from the person who should be in the limelight. I think the focus should be him/her and not the clan. And plus, a clan would get something better than any prize won from a competition, the friendship and clansmanship of a player that they helped train.

If this is actaully going forward I have a suggestion on how it could be done:

I'll make a clan called Pimp My n00b on each of the 3 servers (if needed) and keep leadership. When the pairing of noobs with Golds finishes they all join the Pimp My n00b clan in their respective server. Thus when the noobs compete they'll all be in the same clan so no stat loss (it might be important to them). When the winner has won the gold gets to keep the Pimp My n00b clan as a trophy and the grey winner gets a clan of which name they can choose. Also if someone wants to throw $5 in they can be sponsored for a month.

How is that?
