double elimination trophy tournament

hey, i guesse this is mostly to any moderator but i thought this would be a real cool way to have a tourney and one worthy of the prize being the trophy(since its been a real long time since darque won it last)

anywase, the idea is mostly from what would have been the legends vs. rev tourney.

so, its a 3 way tourney, everyone that joins picks two of the three categories(the categories being turtle, grey, and freestyle)(which of course could have turtle's or grey setups...if ur weird).

there are then three brackets setup
1) turtle
2) grey
3)freestyle

all people in all three(everyone being in two of them) competes, this makes it into a double elimination tournament and allows people who get unlucky or watever to have a second chance.

so in the finals, the winner of each bracket goes against each other winner 3 times(one for each playing type) and the games are scored like the league, person with most points of the three wins, this also means though that if someone wins 2/3 brackets they automaticly win (unless losing takes away equal to winning and drawing gives nothing) but i think its fair that if u win two of the three(which means u already placed higher in one bracket then the guy ur facing) u should be able to nab it

in case of tie the two top people play some kind of game(any help on here would be sick)

I think that like the first tournament of champions all drops should be allowed(since this allows everyone to play to there best)

and oh yeh, prize should be the trophy since this shows ur the best in all?...like highlander

any ideas? any input from the mods who would need to rule?

Drops don't allow people to play to their best, they cripple a player's ability to play a good game using traditional units. With a little luck Even a mediocre player could probably beat me with a bunch of witches and stuff. Just my humble opinion, good luck guys.

I would have thought that this was a good idea, a few months back. Now, I'm so cynical about the role of formation in a match that I don't think you'll find the best player using a tournament. You'll just find the player who was the luckiest in the tournament.

Unless we're only allowed to use a Cleric and only a Cleric. No blocking, and an unblockable attack.
