The show that got you there, buddy. Don't try to switch up gear at the last minute before the big show. I tried that once with wrestling shoes, and after my 1st match, I went back my old reliable beat-up pair that had gotten me all the way there. I'm not a trackster, but I know that in any big sports events, comfort and familiarity go a long way.

I'm confused...you don't have your own track shoes? If that's the case, what have you been wearing all season long to get yourself to state?

Adidas made the best wrestling shoes and hockey boots (at least for my taste). Lightweight, durable and sturdy. Of course, that means nothing about track shoes.

Actual tennis shoes? Or have you been wearing athletic shoes. Look, I work at a shoe store and sadly I know a great deal about everything from infant shoes to athletics to women sandels.

I'm a big K-Swiss fan. I actually own 11 pairs. Yes, I know it's a bit sad.

Yes, that is a bit sad. But working in a shoe store is a great idea.

Nike has actually been trying tons to improve their ethics...or at least improve what the public thinks their ethics are.

Most of the major companies use labor in other countries, it cuts costs by more than you can imagine. A lot of it is much more ethical now--it's improved tons in the past decade or so.

I run track as well. If you want a good running shoe, try Asics. Asics running shoes are by far the best I have ever gotten. By the way, why are you running in shoes and not spikes?
