No. I just decided to be nice to those who do not fully grasp the general flow and standards of the forums.

Many newbs come here, and make posts that are what would be considered "flame worthy"

Maybe if we take a chance to explain kindly the way the forums generally work, more of these newbies will go on to become vets as opposed to getting flamed to the point where they feel they must be n00bs to fit in.
