Find Your Type Of Form First: You Should Always Try To Find Out What Kind Of Form You Are Best At Creating, Playing With, And Playing Against.

If You Are Best At Bombs, Always Have Witches And Pyros, If You Are A Gold Or Double Gold Always Use Ur Dragon, If Double Gold Always Use Dragon Speaker Mage With Dragon. Also Try To Use A Mud And Ambusher If Gold, And If Grey Try To Get A Mud.

If You Are Good At Defensive Forms Try To Have A Mud And Furgon, Cause Now Greys CAn Use Furgons , Also If You Are A Double Gold Always Have Your Stone Golem Aswell As At Least 2 Knights.

If You Are Good At A Mix Of Forms Like... Defensive/Offensive Use Knights And A Couple Of Ranging Units And Paralyzing Units.

If You Are Good At Rushes Then Have Good Units That Can Range And Do Good Damage, Also Have An Assassin Cause Of Their Exploding Move... And Have Units That Have Moderate Defence.

If You Like To Flank People Use Ranging Units, Like Scouts, Ambushers, Muds, And Beast Riders And Try Using Paralyzing Units Aswell. Also You Should Have Units That Defend And That Can Move Over A Large Scale Area.

If You Get A Good Drop Like A Beast Rider Or Frost Golem, Always Use It Unless You Really Do Not Need It And You Have A Good Form That Has No Need For A Beast Rider. If You Get A Frost Golem Always Use It!!!! A Frost Golem Or Enchantress Can Save Your Life In A Battle. Also An Assassin Can Save Your Life Now Because Of The Exploding Move, It Deals 99 Damage To Any Unit It Hits, Aswell As A Furgon Now That They Are In Drops They Can Save Your Life, Just Because Of The Shrubs Because Your Opponent Might Surrender Because Of The Annoyingness Of The Shrubs. Also The Shrubs Are A Good Defence.

You May Have A Favorite Form But Try To Use New Ones, If They Don't Work Then Keep Your Old One.

Try All Different Forms They Might Not Be Something You Like But It Might Get The Job Done.

Always Try To Have Any Good Unit ( Even 1 Extra Unit That You Already Have...Like A Pyro, Sometimes They Can Make A Big Difference)

If You Dont Get A Drop For A While Try Upgrading, Or Find A Good Form That You Can Use That Doesn't Need Any Extra Drops

It's All About The Cleric: Always Protect Your Cleric, Cause Someone May Bomb You.

Protect Your Cleric With A Lightning Ward Or Knight All The Way In The Front Of Your Formation Above The Cleric.

If You Are A Grey Or Gold Try To Have More Then 1 Cleric So If One Of Them Gets Taken Out You Always Have The Other One.

If You Only Have One Cleric Find The Best Formation To Protect It.

The Cleric Makes Your Whole Team Unless You Bomb.

The Cleric Will Always Heal Your Guys Unless You Already Used Him, You Will Have To Wait A Couple Turns.

Don't Just Waste Away Your Clerics Heal, Use Him When You Really Need Him.

Paralyzed!: If You Want To Play Smart You Will Have Any Paralyzing Unit Most Of The Time!

The Bad Part About Paralyzing Units Is If They Have A Unit Paralyzed, When They Get Hit The Unit/ Units Aren't Paralyzed Anymore... Also No Paralyzing Unit Can Block.

A Frost Golem Is A Good Paralyzing Unit, It Can Paralyze A Unit From Four Tiles Away, Though It Can Only Paralyze One Unit.

An Enchantress Maybe One Of Your Best Units!!! She Can Paralyze 12 Units At Once, Also She Can Move Over A Medium Scale Area!

If You Have @ Frost's You Should Use Them Both, Unless You Have A Good Turtle And Have The Frost In The Best Spot It Can Be In.

If You Are A Grey And You Have Two Enchantress' Use Them Both, They Can Help A Lot.

Power: Always Try To Have A Couple Of Power Units On The Feild. If You Are A Gold You Should Try To Have Your Dragon Out On The Feild.

Also The Most Balanced Unit And One Of The Most Powerful Is A Knight. Try To Have At Least Two Knights On The Feild At All Times If Not All Three.

The Most Powerful Magic User For A Gold Is A Dragon Speaker Mage. A DSM Takes Power Away From Your Dragons Power And Give It To Your Pyro's.

The Most Powerful Magic User For Greys Is Also One Of The Best Units In The Game. The Dark Magic Witch Can Attack Four Spots From All Sides. Her Power Is Twenty-Four And She Hits Good On Any Unit, Even Units That Were Powered-Up By The Stone Golem!!!

You Should Have An Assassin On The Feild If You Are A Grey, They Have An Exploding Move That Does 99 Damage To Whatever It Hits!!! You Should Hit The Assassin On Purpose And Get It's Health Below Five Then Attack With The Exploding Attack.
We Will Defend: No Matter What Always Have A Couple Good Defending Units On The Feild At All Times.

Now That Furgons Are A Drop, Greys Can Have A Very Good Defending Unit.

A Furgon Can Summon Shrubs To Protect Your Guys From Attacks.

If You Are Into Defending You Should Have A Barrier Ward On The Feild. They Protect One Unit From An Attack Until You Either Move That Unit, The Person You Are Playing Hits Your Barrier Ward, Or You Use The Barrier Ward On Another Unit.

Once Again Paralyzing Units Are Very Good For Defence. They Can Protect Your Guys Aswell, And They Can Make It So The Other Unit Cannot Block!!!

Another Thing About Defending Is Always Protect Your Cleric, They Help A Ton.

If You Are A Double Gold And You Like Defending Then Always Have Your Stone Golem On The Feild.

Another Good Unit For A Turtle Is The Poison Wisp. It Can Poison Units And Make Those Units Lose Health Every Turn, So Whenever Someone Goes And Lets The Other Person Go Whatever Units Are Poisoned Lose Four Health.

Also You May Want To Have A Lightning Ward Out On The Feild. They Can Only Be Done Damage By Magic, Dragons, Or When They Get Paralyzed.

Flush Em Out!: If You Like To Bring Your Opponent Out Of Hiding You Are Going To Need Flanking Units.

There Is Four Basic Flanking Units. The Scout, The Mud Golem, The Golem Ambusher, And The Beast Rider.

Plus The Magic Users Are Flanking Units In Their Own Special Way Aswell.

Flanking Units Are Basically Units That Can Move Over A Large Scale Area And Can Hit A Unit From Far Away.

The Golem Ambusher Is A Good Flanking Unit Once You Get To Know How To Use Him. He Can't Move Far But He Can Throw A Rock Over Things And Hit A Target From Far Away. Another Good Thing Is That The Ambusher Has Sixty Health. His Bad Point Is That He Cannot Block.

A Beast Rider Can Attack Two Units At One Time, That Is If They Are Line Up Correctly. The Beast Rider Can Move Very Far, But He Dies Easily.

The Mud Golem Is A Very Good Unit. He Can Do Mud Quake Which Hits Enemies Over A Large Scale Area. Plus He Moves Very Far. Another Good Point About The Mud Golem Is That He Too Has Sixty Health. His Bad Point Is That He Cannot Block.

The Scout Is Probably The Best And Worst Flanking Unit At The Same Time. There Is A Thing With The Scout Called L.O.S Or Line Of Sight. You Have To Undertsand The Line Of Sight Or It's Total Luck With The Scout. He Can Hit From Eight Tiles From Any Side. Also He Has Forty Health And He's A Good Blocker Aswell. Hes A Definite Must On Any Form.

Also Mages Are A Good Flanking Unit Only Because They Can Hit Four-Five Units At Once, They Can Move Only Three Tiles Though...

I feel that it's my solemn duty to say that this thread sucks. I'm too lazy to look down a few scrolls for the thread starter, but whoever you are, seriously, figure it out. Legends is entirely different than FPS, and although you took a long time to post this there are a few problems.

1. This is FPS forums. No one wants to hear about Legends here.
2. This server is different. Your advice means almost nothing.
3. Even if you had the right server qualities, most of your advice would still blow since it's either obvious or not in very good strategical mindset.

You're one of those people who gives Legends a bad name.

It is that way because he tried to type it in all caps.

And I'll jump on the band wagon here.

1) Blue you misidentified what units are available in drops, and mentioned features that do not exist here.
2) Your "advice" is useless, as it doesn't fully cover any strategy, and just mumbles about several of them without explaining WHAT the strategy itself is.

Please feel free to learn to play the game here before trying to tell people how it works.

#1 rule about learning formations:

Learn the rest of the game before learning formations. Too many noobs know dozens of variations of turtles, rushes, bombs, spreads, but don't know how to use em. Having a form is useless if you can't use the units.

Exactly, any unit or form used properly can beat any thing, you just gotta remember how to properly align ur units, it like chess pretty much :)
