Well you forgot to put the mud golem, and i'd probably take that as the best gold unit, seeing as a fury can't do crap to him, as well as the wisp, under appreciated unit right there :)

Just because it's best doesn't mean it's unbeatable. Every unit has a weakness, but the unit that is best in all takes the prize. The furgon is that unit, and thus the furgon wins. Just because a unit can beat the furgon doesn't make it better.

Dragon isn't best, because it's stopped easily, plus it takes up two unit spots, which is a negative attribute.

Ambusher is rigged. It gives people who play aggressively an unfair advantage against those that prefer to take the defensive, so it can't be the best, because it wrecks the balance.

like most of the others here, the unit i've found to be most helpful has been the furgon. since it isn't an option, i voted for the frost golem, since my frosty has saved my arse many a time. :)

I would say the furgon, but I always make the mistake of thinking I have to summon some shrubs everytime I use it and I trap myself in.

I think the coolest looking one is the Beast Rider though it's a shame it's slightly underpowered.

Yeah it's only really useful if stoned or if you're using it defensively... the latter of which kind of takes away it's best use.

The Frost Golem is a really great unit which can be used very effectively but you have to know how in order to use it...This is why I think it is the best gold unit...even though im still a grey I hate going up against frosty's :wacko:
