recovery: 4 turns
range: same as barrier ward

description: the soul ward can target any piece except ones with unblockable attacks or other wards. A unit hit by the ward loses 8 hp on the spot. After this the ward waits 4 turns and the unit still has the same movement and range and everything except that it's attack becomes unblockable. Only one unit can be targeted at once, and at the end of four the ward can target a new unit.
i am new and would apreciate any comments you have to make. Fire at willl.
yes, lets give the knight 22 unblockable damage, that would be the best :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ,or better yet, lets make a armored knight unblockable, even with the damage and added recovory this sucks

Big time kudos for the new guy! Now this is all in all not a fantastic unit in my opinion but it's worlds better than the vast majority of the new units in the last week. Most importantly it isn't just a stupid modified knight or dragon or something ridiculously overpowered. It's a TACTICAL unit. Not extremely tactical but I like the way you're thinking. For a first unit this is extremely high quality, I have high hopes that you'll give this forum a much needed boost in creativity. :cool:

i dont know why, but still, the basic idea is fine, but 8 dmaage wouldnet realley effect a knight, mabey make it focus and the unit targeted takes 4 damage for every turn in focus? thne you can paralyze a oposing unit and focus on it, making it a poision effect

I'm not sure. I think having to use a turn that damages your own unit to make this take effect when it will only get to attack twice (or would it be three times) makes it balanced enough. I don't know. I like the concept, tweaking may help though.
I like the concept of melee units being able to use an unblockable attack (see Viking Berserker). Obviously it has to be balanced for this concept to work well.
i tihnk it only adds the rec the 1st turn it get used

i tihnk it jsut makes it so the knight has 5 recovry the 1st turn the knight uses it

I think you misunderstand it. The knight's recovery doesn't change, the ward's recovery is affected. The knight would have to recover just one turn after attacking. :p
oh, then its sorta ovepowered, and as a note, please only post the unit name in the title

It's a tad overpowered, but at least it's a good idea. I mean, it is only one unit at a time with unblockable damage. Yeah, I like it. Kepp the good stuff coming stryker. :)
