Since the zzzaacckk fiasco Rogue_Wolf and I made it our goal to get to Draquist. We don't expect to beat him but we're going to get through Say What?. Even if I do get flawlessed, I have no doubt in my mind that Rogue_Wolf would take him in a 10 vs 10 match.

Not sure who you were talking about, but I just told Mith to get him to the point where I could flawless him. He much surpassed what I thought he could do, and I think he should be able to take atleast your Witch, unless you can prove me wrong :p

let me know if u want me to find a sub for resc. obviously at this stage in the tourney i would rather have him playing, whether or not a replacement would be better than him, since this is the team we registered. if he cannot make it and we need to find a sub (and julia allows it) then we will have to look at that option, or, at worst we can be disqualified , which i would really hope doesn't happen (since at this point nobody really wants to advance on a dq). if resc can somehow play his game, code and myself are usually available every night, and we can finish the round quickly, but i understand not wanting to wait so long for res to make it. anyways, i am sorry that this happened, because i know resc wouldn't do this on purpose.

I had major problems with finding codeman1 last round (and actually, he had to be subbed in the end) and Resc is constantly disappearing.

I'm not scared of Resc in the slightest. Aside from the fact that I'm not the leadoff player, I know that his time apart from this game has made him quite rusty.

I started short 2 knights and a witch so I decided to go for one unit unless I felt I could get two (unlikely). Say What? asked for an opp side match which was just fine with me because it meant I could guarantee that one unit because I'd have adequate time to prepare my A-bomb. We went slowly, went around shooting at each other but not really attacking. Finally it became clear that he couldn't flawless me and I probably wouldn't get two units from him and if I could it would require a heck of a lot of time. Considering my team isn't in it to win anymore that isn't worth the time to me. He had an assassin ready to attack my bw (which was protecting my assassin). I told him if he attacked it I'd A-bomb him (which also took out my L-ward). He agreed. It didn't take long after that to realize he was bound to flawless the remaining 5 so I surrendered.

I'm quite pleased now. Unless Say What? beats Rogue_Wolf down 9 units to 10, Rogue_Wolf and I will meet our goal of going down swinging and making their final guy play. Good luck in your next match Rogue.

Try having your friend help you out by reciting the information to him/her. I find that always helps me remember things. Then again, I memorized all the maps of the continents (countries and capitals) in about 5 minutes before class actually started.

Rogue_Wolf vs Say What?

Meh, this match sucked for us both. We started to play, and after the first few turns, I had taken his Scout, Dark Magic Witch, and BWard, and he took my DMW and Scout. The game continues, me up 2 units, and about to take his LWard when I disconnect, somehow. I started typing, and I must have hit some combination of keys. The next thing I knew, my game screen was gone, and I was on the "Play Online" page.

I come back on, and ask for a rematch. After about 4 minutes of thinking, Say What? agrees to replay, allowing each of us to use the same units we had left(Him being able to keep his LWard), but we could change our forms. I agreed, since I had little choice. We get back in game, and play it out. I end up winning, thanks to some good luck(My Knights had great blocking, and his Knights stank it up).

So, what started out as possibly a 7 unit win for me turned into a 5 unit win, with only 2 attacking units left. I, obviously, can't beat Draquist, since our last match was a draw. Tassles! will bow out here, and wishes Rusty Sheriff's Badges good luck in their next round. Also, thanks to Say What? for being a good sport.

This is starting to drive me insane. Both Realist and myself are on daily and TN is on pretty often as well.

You should set a limit for how long this is post to last.Like for instance 1 week, 2 weeks at tops.This way the people will try to get there matchs done faster...and well if they hole team doesnt even do 1 match within that time they sould just get disqualified, its not fair for other people in this tourney.

Thats how it originally was..the problem with that is this, too many teams didnt get their matches in on time..if we did it that way there wouldnt be a tournament at all.

Well, i came on a while ago (bout hour and a half and i didnt see TN. I figured he would be waiting for me since i said i was free only nights, but i guess not. Sorry to everyone for the wait. I think im going to go ahead and just forfeit for us because our team has been rather off the ball as of late and i am in the middle of finals and with all of my other activities (work, soccer) i hardly have time to chew my food (let alone swallow). It would probably be the same for me if we had moved on so i think im doing the right thing here in letting Julia's team win.

I think that bot/fry/wolf will come out as victors though. Wolfy is to gray as i am to cool as hell :cool: Anything that comes out of frylock and bottle will probably be swept up by wolfy nomatter whether its 5 or 50 pieces (ok 50 may be pushing it). But even still, im gonna hope that the mod team pulls it off, seeing as they are now technically the ones who beat us :dry:
