Series of Unfortunate Events is alright.
I think the Artemis Fowl books are a bit over-rated, though.

Artemis Fowl totally owns you. But His Dark Materials was way better. I could debate that all night, and I would love to.

Um lets see chapter 9, Ghosts in the machine. Holly and the gang are planning to bust the crap out of spiro needle and get the c cube back from him. Right now mulch is blowing dwarf gas at the camera to turn it. man i love thes books.

And Artemis and Holly are teamed, but they're phase 2. Man, this is the best part of the book, you'll love it.
