A HandiCap Tourny...

Well i'm not sure how this whole posting thing here will work but I figured for a change why not try something new.


Now the idea for a Handicap tourny is having 32 players sign up and then have 2 seperate divisons. So for the first 16 you will be given randomly a number between 1-16 for your untis allowed to use as well as how many overall your allowed to place on the field.

An example being,

1 knight
2 scouts
1 b-ward
3 enchantresses
2 pyromancers
2 witches
1 dragon
1 furgon
1 frost

and you are allowed to play 9 units, 8 if you use the dragon.

I believe this will test the capacity on how to play the game.

As well as another...

2 clerics
1 scout
1 beast rider
1 furgon
1 frost
1 assassin
1 dark magic witch
1 b-ward

7 units can only be used as well as 1 cleric must be played.

So those are 2 examples of how it would be divded. It's a new concept and I expect people to complain after they hear it but hey what are new idea's for :).

Depending on how it works, but hopefully there will be some ways to keep it even.

It's early in the morning for me, and I'm still tired, but I'm not understanding this concept.

What do the random numbers mean? If you get 1, that means you can only use 1 unit? And how does 16 figure in?

something like you either get more choice of units and less units on field or the opposite...I think...

Each player will randomly be given a number, the forms are pre-chosen per number so that if you get no.1 you get a premade list of units to use, be avaiable to play and if some must stay on the field, i'll try getting something more on it in time.


P.S: Believe me, half the time i dunno what i'm talking about :p

Probably get a couple of people who will be hosting the tourny as referee's and develop the 16 handicap forms and then randomly each section (A+B) will be given no.'s 1-16 to see how they will play.

I'll probably help give a few idea's seeing as I won't be participating.
