Ive heard some controversy on this subject. I would like to know what everyone thinks.

When is warfare really civil?

Recruit anywhere.

Although, it would be bad form to recruit in an ally's thread.

Also, it would be better if users could delete their own threads.

My full opinion on this is that recruiting for your clan is great, and trying to pull a potential member before they join another Clan is cool. But this should be done either ingame, through the use of PMs or by way of a seperate thread advertising for your clan. To go to another clans thread, especially ones that dont have a private forum and rely on these, is a very disreputable thing to do. Thats just my opinion though.

I agree that recruiting should be kept out of allies threads and I will from now on do so. Other than my standard advertising of the KOTR, I will no longer post recruiting messages in the Something Wicked thread. As for all of the rest of you. Expect me always. The KOTR is always accepting new members and I will therefore always be recruiting those members in as many forums as I deem necessary.

I think the best place for recruiting is when you're in a game. That way you know if the person know what they're doing and if their stats aren't private, you can see those as well. KOTR isn't an elite clan, but we like to see people that have played 20+ games and have a clue of what they're doing.
