Great Lakes Tourny Round 2- Schedule and Tree

All 32 slots are filled - therefore I bring you... the schedule! (I'm not done making the tree as an image yet, its still only on paper).

How the Schedule Works: Each match is given a time frame. If your match, for example, is in a 5:00-5:30 time frame, your expected to be in the lobby at 5:00 and waiting for your match to begin. Once both you and your opponent are in the lobby, I'll give you a floor number and your match can begin! Of course, if your not in the lobby by the end of your frame (in this case 5:30), then you will forfit your match and possibly be disallowed from participating in the next Great Lakes Tournament.

Round One is up, here's round 2! (Lotsa byes in round one - pretty much proved who really wants to be in the tourny)

No, this can't be right! Congratulations FlameRaven, for the Dark Lord can not attend at 7 due to a Calculus Final in that time frame (6:45-9:15). If someone else is able to take my spot, then so be it, but as it stands Wurtil must forfeit in this tournament. I do hope this will not prevent the Dark Lord from participating in future events, for my wrath shall be swift to all that oppose me.

I had planned on it Jack, but it took forever for all 32 spots to fill. I expected them to fill up by the end of Saturday, apparently not =\ Oh well, first round is only preliminaries anyway. Not that important =P I'll be sure to leave more time before the first match for situations like Wurtil's in future tournies. Actually, I have a better idea... hehehe :D

I saw, congrats on winning the first tourny match :D If your read my whole first post, it says I have the tree drawn on paper, just not on my comp yet. Now my FTP isn't working. I'm full of problems :( Should be working tommorow tho! :cool:

Two things. Is the ladder system in order on your post? So Aro23r is fighting either Excession or Gachupines, etc etc? I'm trying to track it on paper so just wanted to b sure.

Sorry buck. I wanna finish this tourny befre christmas, so round 2 is gonna be on saturday, theres really no time left for a reschedule. Reschedules were played yesterday (only one). The next tourny is right around the corner though.

And Hashish, yes, it is. But Aro's match was originally the last one on wednesday, so tack it on to there. He's either playing Wizen or davidsmith. The rest are in order tho.

Why does the tree have True_redemption playing Ri'orius twice? once at 6.30, the next at 7.00? And one of the matches does not have a winner, does that mean that they are both out of it, because neither showed up to play?

Same with bufferthanskinny. He plays at 6.30 vs. no one, and at 7 he plays and loses to AzN_GuY.

I work and I go to school, I'm usually home at 7pm on a weekday night. Regardless of the time, there would still be a wohle bunch of byes. Always in the first round.

But in California, 7:00 EST is 4:00. How often are you home then?

Although I agree, the first round usually has a lot of drops, for future reference, possibly try to keep it on weekends?

Scribe's plan is to rotate it. The next tourney he'll run will be on Banff (I'm guessing), then the next on Armageddon, then back to Great Lakes, etc.

Sorry I haven't posted =\ Between Christmas, work, and my hockey season starting up, I havent had much time to post. Everyone whos in school can enjoy the rest of their vacation, and everyone else can have a Happy New Year. Round three will mostly likely be on Monday at 5pm EST (a week from today). The schedule will be up within the next couple days. If that time is no good for anyone, feel free to post. The more of a notice you can give me, the better.
