Hydra

Health: 60
Armor: 0
Power: 10
Movement: 3
Range: 1
Blocking: 20%
Recovery:
Attacks- 2
Moves- 1
Both- 3

Special: Every time the Hydra losses 1/3 of its health it gains another head. Meaning it gets an attack for every head it has effectivly adding 10 power.

Example:
A hydra at 60-41 health has 1 head, 1 attack
A hydra at 40-21 health has 2 heads, 2 attacks
A hydra at 20-1 health has 3 heads, 3 attacks
Note- All of the attacks are on the same unit, if that unit dies before the hydra uses all of its attacks, the hydra can attack a unit to either side of the unit killed.

Example: Code- H=Hydra 0=Empty Space D=killed unit
X=attackable space

OOX
OHD
OOX

If a hyda has multiple heads and is then healed to an area where it would have less heads then its current amount, 1 head will die/dissapear to prevent people from giving their hydra 3 heads then healing it back to full health.

its alittle complex but is original

think I should kill the whole "attacks another unit if the first one dies and the hydra still has attacks" thing?

It better be original, I made it like a year ago :P

Hey, this is really nice for a new unit designer, good job. Surprisingly original and it kind of fits the mythical creature.

Edit: I just noticed your join date, so maybe you aren't a noob. Still a good unit though.

I had a thread of units a while ago, and this seemed to be the most popular unit in it.

Yeah, I remember this, are the three attacks blocked independently of each other?

Yes, because if the hydra has the potenial to attack multiple units, each attack should be treated seperatly right?

Good. It balances it very well, as it is only really powerful when attacking from behind with very low HP. If this attacked a Pyro from the front there is a chance that it could kill it in one hit. However, it would have low enough HP that a DSM'd Pyro could kill it, and there is a fair chance that it would block one of the attacks.

Solid unit. If anything, slightly underpowered, you could give it low blocking.

I was thinking about giving it mage-level blocking, but getting rid of blocking all together helped balance the power and multiple attacks out. Maybe a longer movment?

I think 20% blocking would be better for a minor adjustment than a movement increase. I'm submitting this for committee consideration by the way.

Thanks. I guess I'll edit in the blocking then.

Hmm...movement is really powerful, I'd say it's best to go with the Mage level blocking, possibly DT level.
