New Clan!!!!

Hey all,

I want to start a new clan that is based on the G.L. server alone. Plz post if you are interested. Right now I am thinking two other people along with me will head the clan, forming the clan council. The rest will have various ranks based on their skill lvls. Challanging another player for their rank is allowed. Again plz post.

This sounds like another one-person clan to me. You should at least have a name. A mission and some members helps too. Failing that, here are the large clans right now:

Knights of the Round- This is the largest clan, and also the first one to have any significant amount of members. This is the clan I belong to. It's well rounded, and has a polished website that is updated frequently. However, some clans feel that we are too elite, and dislike us for that. Other's are our rivals simply because they can.

Pyro Pyrates- This is not completely the opposite of KOTR, but fairly close. It's leader is competent, so no worries there. It has a fairly large member base, and it has a rudimentary site up and running. It is the strongest and chief rival of KOTR.

Something Wicked- This clan I would best describe as Switzerland (for lack of a better term). The player's here are competent and usually neutral, and are for the most part active and respectable. They don't usually take part in flaming. I respect this clan alot since they're intelligent and don't pick any fights.

Klear Channel Klan- Avoid this clan if you can. It's one member is considered unarmed and extremely annoying.

Warlord Confederation- I don't have too much information on this one except that it has a decent enough amount of members. i haven't seen any posts by them recently. They are enemies of KOTR, and are (I think) allied with the Pyro Pyrates.

The Legion of Doom- i'm not sure what'll become of this clan, as it's leader just joined KOTR. As there are more than a couple members in it, someone will most likely take over for Wurtil.


That's pretty much all I can say. I tried to make it as honest as I could. Choose wisely.

While much of what you say is true I have found that in established clans it tends to become hard to recieve any recognition for your skill as a player. Because of this it would be much better just to start a new clan to start on top. Just an idea.

the fact that our 1 person klan is one of the large ones makes me feel good. my members will like this. the only thing i am armed with is words and that will suffice. Remember the KCK. That is the only thing that matters.:eek:

If your words were beyond a third graders repitoire, you might have a chance. Which is exactly why you are going to remain a one person clan that is merely an annoyance to all.

KOTR is more about a small community of players inside the larger TAO community, but new players with good stats or combat skills can easily get recognition. We show a ranking list based on wins/losses, similar to the one done by TAO for each server, and a rating list reflecting battles within the clan. Sadly, I'm at the bottom of the second list, but have only had one battle so far inside the clan. Last I looked Hashish_Scout, our webmaster, was at the top of the rating list.

That's cause not many of us fight each other. I got two wins, I'm at the top of the heap. Woohoo! :)
