GREAT WYRMM

REVISED STATS IN BLUE

The GREAT WYRMM is a massive unit, taking three tiles on the board. It can only attack from the front with its enormous maw, lined with razor sharp rows of teeth. It's mail-like flesh acts as a sort of armor.

Statistics
Hit Points: 74
Power: 20
Armor: 40
Movement Range: 3
Recovery: 2

GREAT WYRMM counts as two units.

Attack Pattern
The GREAT WYRMM's primary attack is it's bite, dealing damage to any unit on a tile adjacent to its head. Armor does not affect the damage done.

Special Abilities
The GREAT WYRMM has a secondary attack (initiated as Mud-Quake), spraying acid like saliva which covers all tiles adjacent to its head, this attack is unblockable and does 5 damage.

The GREAT WYRMM leaves a trail (one tile behind it at all times) of slippery goo. Any unit walking through the goo will "slide" to a random tile adjacent to the 'gooed' tile and stop there.

All parts of the GREAT WYRMM can be attacked.

The GREAT WYRMM can be paralyzed, but only if all three tiles it is on are in the affected spell area. It cannot be barriered. It cannot be healed.

If it's 1 unit, way overpowered. at least 3 turn recovery.

Yeah. This HAS to count as 2 units. I like the first ability, but the second one is a bit unoriginal. Generally a good unit, though.

originality factor: 8/10
balance factor: 8/10 - Since you put that counts as 2 unit thing :P
'wow' factor: 8/10
overall:8/10

Its balanced if you count it as 2 units. Id put the recovery time a little higher maybe? 24 non-armor-affected damage is a lil powerful....But i guess it is blockable....I dunno...

Also why can't it be barriered, healed, or paralyzed by the frost golem?

I guess it could be used as a giant wall too since it is three tiles big. I dont think it would be easy to have in a line up. It should be able to be healed, any unit which cant be healed wont last very long which makes it kind of pointless to have. Even if it has 72 HP and GA can just pound on it all it wants until the unit is dead. Nice try though

Any unit walking thru the 'goo' would move one more tile (randomly) and stop there. (Like slipping on ice or something) That unit could still attack if it hasn't yet that turn.

Since the damage it deals is irrespective of armor, I thought not barrierable would balance that a bit. Since it's damage is kinda high, I thought non-healable would balance that. Frosty targets a single tile, GW takes up three.

A GA's recovery is greater, so if it were placed advantageously, the GW would move inside the GA's range before it could be pummelled to death.

Figure this. It takes up Two units. One shot from GA from behin ur own lines deals 22 damage. one shot from a scout then deals 18 more damage. just wait for a bit, even if attacked you can heal ur units. Then use the GA again to hit the GW and then if necessary wait its full recovery. The fact is that without being able to heal this thing or barrier it, it becomes extremely vulnerable to ranged attacks.

And the fact that you can't barrier it.

Also GA has 20 attack

Shameless bump to get comments on the revised version.
