Why is it people are fixated with everything being small? I'd rather have something be a bit larger and kick ass, than cute and cuddly and have no performance.
The built in reception for 4 wireless controllers, as well as 3 USB ports also kicks ass.

And yes, it will come down to games. BHut so far their game list seems good, and the specs on them are upposed to be outrageous.

What will the USB ports be good for? I already have a computer. I have found that no matter what console system has come out, I always end up using my computer more then the console. Granted, consoles are fun and some of the games I've played over the years have been amazing (Devil May Cry comes to mind, as does MGS and GTA III) but in the end my computer always pulls me back in.

Remember this though:

Your video card is meant to be used with a computer monitor. The card in the X-Box is made for TV and Hi Def TV. The memory needed to push that is a helluva lot less.

I have no idea, it hasn't actually been released yet. That was actually one of my questions too, because 512 isn't all that much, even GDDR3 that it is.

It's not actually coming out until christmas, most likely. I think my favorite part is the detachable hard drive. That was a stroke of genius.

I'm friggin excited to get the Xbox 360. Also, it is backwards compatible. On the MTV special, they had tabs in the media center menu for movies, music, downloads, and games. In the games tab, Fable was sitting among the list with a pic of the cover next to it. Also, they mentioned that you can download content for Halo 2. So unless they're going to make Halo 2.5 and what not...i'd say it's backwards compatible.

I'm just excited at the potential this system has. M$ has ALOT more 3rd party support this time around, and they've stepped up with loads of features. "0mgz0rz, t3h xb0x 15 h00m0ngl0u5!1one!!" And? Look at all the stuff that's been crammed into it. Just because Sony and Nintendo made a tiny console, doesn't mean that every single console HAS to be small. Like Jeff said, i'd rather a dresser sized, friggin suitcase sized console that will give me alot more bang for my $...than something the size of a book that will limit my gaming potential.

A lot of people don't have room for such systems. Not only is my entertainment system not big enough to put the original Xbox on top of my DVD player, it would probably smush my DVD player.

Anyways, I'll wait to see what the PS3 and Nintendo 'Revolution' has to offer. There is no denying that the Revolution will have the best 1st party games, I mean, it's friggin' Nintendo. If Nintendo can get a little better 3rd party support this time around, and keep the same EXACT controller with the only improvement being the addition of a 4th shoulder button, then I know what I"m getting.

But it's been said many times here already...it's all about the games. I'll play Advance Wars on my Gameboy over and over again before any sucky game on the 360, no matter how great it looks.

Personally, I'm getting the PSP very soon and then jumping on the PS3. Sony has just been too good to me.
