Hi there everyone, I'm The Exile, so named because I was exiled from my home server of Legends thanks to my pesky firewall. I hear you have some good players here. I look forward to challenging you. My game name will be Exiled, and I'll be on Banff. I have just upgraded.

Edit: I have been looking around these forums for a while, so I do know most of you. So don't think I'm a helpless newbie who doesn't know where your own newb posts are :)

Welcome to the forums, Exile. I'm impressed already, keep up the good grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and you'll pretty much automatically be on most peoples' (mine for sure) positive lists.

Anyways, have a good time over here... the environment is better than at Legends, and trust me, I would know.

My overwhelming feeling that I have got so far is that you simply cannot afford to defend on these servers... 2 scouts forms far too effective an offensive force along with the dragon, wisp, ambusher and mud golem. At least you can slow an opponent down at Legends with a furgon if he hasn't got a mud golem, or even with a frost golem if he has. I also don't like peoples' attitude here... but then, I don't think much of most Legenders' attitude either, including my own. And revelation is certainly somewhat of a let-down.

On the other hand, I like the lack of lag on the servers, the active admin, the lack of greys with 1800 ratings that are virtually golds without a dragon, and the friendliness of my new clan members.

I'm sure I'll have fun here.

Indeed you will. I still play on Legends as my gold and my sort-of-super grey, but it's just a friendlier and more living place over here. You'll get used to it. I miss my 650 posts on the Legends forums, but once I pass that over here, I may as well consider FPS my home.

I still have loyalties to Legends, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy TAO wherever I can get it. I'm sure you'll love it, and again, welcome!
