Can't alter my avatar [Archive] - Tactics Arena Community Forums

I made the Poison Wisp my avatar, and ever since then I can't change my avatar. I've tried dragging every unit to the avatar area, and none of them work. I thought maybe it mattered if I dragged it from the field or from off the field, but it didn't seem to matter.

Help?
I would suggest clearing your cache and cookies, then reloading TAO. It could simply be a slight error in the movie files.

your not guilt free yourself mister. The best way to deal with idiots/spammers is too ignore them. Either by simply not responding/reading their posts, or by actually adding them to the ignore list.

If their behavior is ever reallllly bad or innapropiate, just pm a mod about it. They're good at handling it.

Slickyricky, you have insulted several people. You have turned this thread (which is supposed to be helping Tinybrain) into an attention fest for yourself. You must have quite a bad life to need to much attention from random people. I'm completely surprised by your insult to emerald slasher. He called you stupid for good reason; you weren't reading the posts properly, and were making stupid assumptions. Then, you come up with some irrelevant insult to his mother. And you call him stupid. Why? He has done nothing wrong. He was simply suggesting you use what small amount of intelligence you have.

Then, in your next post, you ignore the neg reps, and instead of making a useful, apologetic post, you insult emerald's mother again. And you spout some crap about her eating an avatar. This is completely pointless, and is clearly trying to start trouble.

Then, you call 22woger22 bitter. How was he being bitter? He was correct; you deserved a neg rep from that post. He was not being bitter, he was being reasonable. You are the one who's being bitter, by making random insults to people who prove you wrong.

Then, you continue to insult woger. You call him a troublemaker, and call him rude and nasty. You fail to see that you are all three of these things. You started the trouble when you called Tinybrain stupid for no reason. You were rude and nasty when you insulted everyone who told you to stop.

I'm not sure if it was something I did that changed things, or maybe I was dragging the units to the wrong spot, but I can now change my avatar with no problems.

I'm tempted to make a new post to make sure the devs see this and don't go looking for a problem that was unique to me for only a short time.

Oh, and I just wanted to clarify something... My mom is so fat, she ate my banner. I've since tried bringing it up a few times with her, but the first time she just started crying and the second she belched and went back to watching "Springer" without a word spoken. It's, predictably enough, totally awkward when I go to visit my parents at this point. I find myself unintentionally using the word "banner" out of nowhere. Like, "Can you pass the banner please? This steak tastes like it could use a little something."
