HP: 30
Power: --
Movement: 3
Attack Range: 1
Recovery: 4
Blocking: 40%
Armor: 10

The farmer plants a seed on any empty tile in the arena. A plant then grows on the tile. The plant can be used to attack on the next turn. Plant stats are:
HP: 38
Power: 25
Attack Range: 3
Attack: Vine Whip (Hits first enemy in it's LOS)
Movement Range: None (Immobile unit)
Recovery: 3
Blocking: 60%
Armor: 0

That was fun

there should be limit on how many seeds the charater can plant . that or a limit on how many can be on the feild at a time and if the farmer gets killed the plants die also.

Being able to place a unit that powerful anywhere on the field would be too powerful. I can already think of a cheep strat: The enemy has just used/moved their cleric, you plant a seed next to him, he dies next turn. Not to mention the turtle factor.

cleric isnt that important, first off. Second, your farmer wouldnt be able to make it that far, he would get killed be the time he makes it next to your cleric...

Cleric isn't that important?
Have you ever played this game?

Secondly, you say it can plant anywhere on the board, so it can just stay in the back of your formation and plants seeds everywhere.

lol... Have I? You mean have you? The cleric is not all that important. I love when people focus on trying to kill my cleric first. It makes it 10x easier to win.

Indeed it does skribe311. Anyone who TARGETS a cleric first will lose pretty much 95% of the time. Now, about your farmer unit....

A movement of three and the ability to make something with a range of three. Thats just like a scout, only you now have a dragon sitting on your board with a 60% chance of blocking instead of 40% as dragons normally have.

If you remove blocking from the vine, it might work out. Also, give the farmer itself 8 armor like the scout.....

Just my suggestions.

Hey give your farmer a range of three and to plant only one or two seeds , if not it is very powerfull and it can kill cleric at once...

And clerics are very important!!!

I think your idea is cool, but too powerfull, also give the seeds less blocking .

I just like the idea that he can plant stuff. Make him weaker, thats fine :)

Yea, i agree mr. skribe. The ability to "make" things on the field is cool. Give the farmer himself 30 health, (like pyro) and give him 20% blocking, (like the DMW). Then for the plants, give them a one recovery to grow and give them a range of two similar to that of the Beast Rider unit. Lastly, give them 33% blocking on all sides, (there is no back on a plant). Do this, and I think you got a perfect unit right here.

Clerics are important yes, but too many people focus too much on them, and that is what is bad, they can become a distraction for many players. And if you heal once every 4 turns. (three turn recovery) That is giving your opponents a free hit on one of your units. I've won many games, vs. greys, as well as golds, without ever using my cleric, and only losing one or two units... :D

LOL silly noob (TAO is for skribe) i like taht, tho until i play you i still believe silly noob TAO is for aro, is a much better mantra. Set up a game with me, you post a lot, but i don't see u much in the server.

GO back and edit the farmer, (put a note that says its been modified since originally posted) so that people reading it can see its *new* stats without reading my rather long posts.
