Caw, that movie is awesome. Nice find Thunder!
Perhaps it's a hoax that Nintendo put out to raise hype for their real system? Are we really technologicaly developed enough to release something like this to the average user yet?

That looks mad, but it's so technologically advanced that I don't think it can released to the human specimen.
It is in no way ugly thunder.

Several issues I see:
Making your own games?? How would this work with a system?
One controller? What about multiplayer?
Game DVD transfer in 30 seconds? Never heard of a ripper THAT fast.

that thing is a beast. but the only thing that gets me is that if the "brain" is supose to sense your movements and adapt, well what if you were playing metroid and you took a dive in the game and landed on your visor. OUCH! :(

Same with those PS3 ads (http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2005/133/reviews/926596_20050514_screen001.jpg) that have been floating around online.

As things stand right now, the technology necessary to track eye movements and use them for mouse clicking (similar to what seems to be proposed in the clip) costs over 11 grand USD. We'll likely see the io2 holographic technology hit the mainstream before we see something like that...
