Ok...so the internet at my house seems to fluctuate a lot...I get frequent disconnects...wasn't like this at all at school (T1 baby) So...I take it none of you have this problem...just makes it kinda frustrating to play when I'm about to win and I get disconnected...:/

Get better internet. Preferably a T! or direct connection to a trunk line.

In fact, for roughly $5000 a month, i can install a line you are almost guaranteed to never lose connection with.


BTW, your signature is not only factually incorrect, but actually completely wrong.

Image banners are hosted on other peoples servers, not TAOs. The only thing located on the TAO server is a URL location of the image. Your textbased images would actually use MORE server space than someone simply using a normal banner.

i actually prefer not to play off my wirless. I live in an appt complex and just the competeing signals and phone's around here can cause some interference at times, so I switch to cable when I play TAO.

I'm kind of disappointed... I don't know if this even qualifies as a rant.

Oh well, Cable internet over here man, and I'd agree that you'll either have to live with it or fork out some cash for better net.

Seriously, that works. My friend did that at my house one time and the wireless he stole from down the block downloaded faster than my cable.

wow. Get a new router. I LOVE overpowered routers that blast a signal out, so it is strong no matter where you are.

I have a wireless internet connection and the speed is 11.2 Mbps but sometimes it goes right up to 50.7 Mbps.
