Highland Golem
These golems were only recently discovered and tamed by humans. Their excellent camouflage among the rocky outcrops have enabled them to hide from humans until now.
HP: ~60
Movement range: 3
Recovery time: 6
Range: 2
Power: 40
Attack Pattern:
Hurls a large boulder of rock 2 squares away from itself and damages any unit in the two sqares it is attacking (like the beast rider). The attack is unblockable.
this is bascially an unblockable beast rider which is very slow but also quite powerful. THe downside is it very slow recovery but it has the power and unblockability to gradually smother those knights with high blocking.
Everyone, tell me what u think! Thanks everyone!

way overpowered. This thing could kill 2 spellcasters in 1 turn. It could also kill assasins and scouts in one hit. And 60 HP is way too much. This would have to count as 3 units to be anywhere near balanced.

Wow that's like a walking Lightning Ward on steroids... a little less strength and it would be good... maybe.

Ops, thx, i forgot to mention that it counts as 2 units. Umm...ok, ill tweak the unit to Tequila_Budgie and ArcPaladinZero's replies. Thx for the comments.

I think it, as a golem, should have 60 HP, perpetuating the theme. The recovery should be 5, to increase the chances of people actually using the unit. Power could be 34, eliminatinga lot of the one-hit kill possibilities. Finally, rather than attacking two tiles in any direction, damaging both, I think the golem should ONLY be able to damage the single tile two tiles away. This makes the golem unable to damage the adjacent squares, giving that boulder a ballistic arc. Halving the potential damage dealt makes the high power ok. It also gives units an easy way to avoid attack, by standing next to the golem.

Still overpowered, even at 34 and counting as 2 units. This could still crush any spellcaster in one hit.

Dragon tyrants can kill witches and clerics in one hit and you don't hear any gold account members complain about them do you? SO what if it can kill a spell caster in one hit? Deal with it.

Ok- ill stick to the 60hp as recommended by ultraexactzz. To be honest, i really dont think its all THAT powerful. Its range is limited...its VERY slow at recovering...NO armour...slow speed...i think its quite balanced.
I think once its done its job once its pretty defenceless... And yes, the fact that it can kill spell casters in a hit does mean its almighty powerful.

i do like the idea. I was arguing with tequila budgie, not you. I think it sounds good as it is.
