#2: NO golem ambusher
#3: Golds only
#4: No mage bombs
#5: Declare unit needed to escort at the beginging
#6: May be off centered
#7: Have Fun
P.M. Death Knight, Cavour or I if you have any suggestions

Yar. If it doesn't sound fun to you: Don't knock it till you've tried it! I was skeptical at first too, but it turned out to be really fun. It still needs ironing out and stuff, but it's been good so far. To expound on Xan's explanation a bit:
You start with a magic unit (I think I'd actually prefer if you could have more than one, and any could reach the opposite side to ensure victory), on any space in your back row. There aren't too many limitations, but to avoid games that just wouldn't turn out that fun, you're allowed only one Scout, and one Knight, no drops, and no Ambushers. The object of the game is to either kill any and all back row lurkers your opponent has before they reach your back row, or get one of your magic units to your opponents back row first. There are a few methods for abuse still, like just Furgoning the hell out of any path your enemy had, or just loading up your back row with units/shrubs to ensure you don't lose. Ways to get by this may include always having to have an empty space on the back row, not being allowed to put shrubs on back rows, or maybe even taking away the Furgon completely (:(). Anyways, as I said before, this still isn't 100% worked out, so if anyone has any questions, comments, suggestions, or opinions on this, please do tell! :)

Not only would that be lame (:p), but all your opponent would have to do is seige you a bit until they could take out your magic unit(s) back there.

put all ur units in the back row leave 1 space open and in the space infront of the open space put a ward or another unit.If they do that. Then just roast their units slowly.
Sounds kind of fun... a different style of play might bring some life to this place :p .

Played around against Cav and lost. But it was fun too, watching his dragon and mud golem against my wisp playing cat and mouse. With a little help from furg of course. :good:

I say we organize a tourney like this. We could have GL play each other, Banff play each other, Army play each other, and Rev plays each other. Winners fight each other. We just need a prize...

is it an escort/defense situation? i.e. one player is designated the escort, and one is designated the defender?

I just played it and I really liked it. But this is how I played[you can be gold or gray].
1)You and your oppoent make set ups. Set ups may only use 1 scout and 1 knight and no drops or Golem Ambushers or wisps. You must have at least(may have more) 1 of the following in the back row: cleric, pyromancer(s),and or witch.
2) Before the 1st move of the game you must "declare" which unit is to be the escorted unit. To be an escorted unit the unit must be a cleric, pyromancer, or witch; and be in the back row. You may only have one escorted unit at a time. You may change escorted units at any time, durning your turn, but the new escorted unit must be in the back row. If your escorted unit dies you may choose any of your remaining cleric, witch, or pyromancers, however they must move all the way to your backrow (unless they were already there)before gaining the ability to win by getting to the opoents back row.
3) Ways to win include:
a) kill the oppoent's escort/ all possible escort units.
b) get your escort unit to the oppoents back row
