~Defender~
The defender is a well known warrior from 10,000 B.C.
This warrier may not have the best attack power but it has alot of agility.

~statistics~
hit points-40
power-15
movement-5 spaces
range-1 adjacent square
recovery time-2 turns
blocking-
60% from front
30% from sides
20% from back
15% armor

~attacking pattern~
attacks one adjacent square



~Special~
this units attacks have an 60% chance of hitting no matter what.
this unit can also do a counter attack, of 20 attackpower. If a unit hits this unit from any side then blocks, then there is a fifty percent chance"after it blocks" of hitting the unit. AKA a 15% chance of a counter attack from the back, 25% chance from sides, and a 50% chance from the front.


~counter attack~
The counter attack shoots a beam of plasma at its victom, long range or not it allways attacks. this counter attack is blockable from whatever side to its normall average. however this makes the unit paralyzed for one turn. note that the counter attack has a 20 hit point attack.


~appearence~
This unit has a staff and a shield "small and round" the unit is small and dwarflike.

It seems a bit powerful... maybe it should take two unit spaces, or you could lower his stats a little. Other than that, it's awesome!:D

i agree this charater is way to powerful but having a charater that can preform counter attacks would be cool.

I like it, and I don't think it's too powerful. Remember, according to this counterattack system he can't counter unblockable attacks. A couple of those and he's dead. Also, a 10% chance of countering (back) or 15% (sides) is nothing, and remember: the plasma attack is blockable. Blockable units (think knight) will be facing the defender after they attack. Most likely the only thing that will happen is a 1-turn paralysis, and if this unit is covering the back, that won't do too much good anyway. I can't think of anything that it would even be particularly good at, except maybe attacking - a movement range of 5 is pretty good. So much for paralysis though...

Can it have more than a 60% chance of hitting?

I actually think it should be made a little stronger. Perhaps the opponent could be given halved blocking chances against the plasma? And I'm not really sure what you want, but it might work better with some sort of counter against unblockable attacks.

Counter Attack, that's a powerful little fella you got there
