So I played Noda in a grey game to see if I could hold my own.
We started out with opposite end turtles chanty/bward no pyro style. I attempted to flank him to try and take out either his cleric or chanty, hopefully both. I knew from the boards noda is amazingly good with chanty so I was interested in killing it ASAP. He moved his scout in towards me but still in his bward range, so I took my assassin and put some pressure on. His scout got badly wounded and so did my assassin, he ended up bwarding it and then killing my assin via witch burn. I was continuing my agressive flanking and got a shot in on his chanty. He had to move his scout to free up his bward and ended up attacking my dark witch then bwarding his chanty while i killed his witch. I had 2 knights well postioned so he couldnt freeze them both and my scout could hit his chanty if it came to that, as well as both knights near the bward. His cleric was also vulnerable. He ended up moving his assassin up to support his scout and used 4 by 3 on my chanty so i couldnt paralyze. So eventually i killed his bward/chanty/cleric and he killed my chanty/cleric. His scout only had 27 HP and i needed to put pressure on it so I took a front shot and got lucky and hit it. At this point i looked in great shape, I had a bward and he didnt, he had an assassin and i didnt, and his scout was down to 7 HP. He made a great play now, and attacked his assassin with his scout while retreating, then retreating his assassin and eventually doing it again. I couldn't stop it I don't think and it came down to me having a side shot on the assassin that now had 3 HP. I went for it and missed. He then kamikazed his assassin on one of my knights. The knight that had attacked his assassin was in lward range now as well. He also had applied pressure on my scout and i was in horrible shape. Eventually i had 1 knight vs his 3 (2 wounded i think and 1 full health) and he got a side shot in and i had no hope so surrendered. He is a brilliant player, the best I have ever played and I was not disheartened to lose to him. I found his way of salvaging the win when he was in bad shape brilliant. GG man :)
