Last night (6/11/05) I was playing a game in rev, I was deciding how to make my first move when the guy typed "hahaha" and "lol". I'm wondering why hes laughing until he said "Don't I have the best setup?". i see that he only has a cleric. Now, it's my turn, and we were talking about it, then I was telling him how pissed I would be to get an auto-surrender. I finally see the time running really low, I franticly go to attack the cleric with my ward, and I geuss I was pushing all these buttons and not concentrating, that I got the auto-surrender. I was PiSsEd. Kinda reminds me of this (http://tacticsfan.com/tac1.html)

If you can't kill a lone cleric with, then you're stupid. Would it really take you 30 turns to get there and attack the cleric?

I've done that several times before, and one time I really deserved it because I fell due to greed rather than.. uh, whatever it was that felled you. I felt a drop was coming, and though the other guy (a newbie) had a cornered knight with 8 HP and I was about to flawless him, he asked me about drops and I walked random units around, chatting with him, hoping to say "that's a drop" but no...... I auto-surrendered while giving him tactical advice.

No, I wasn't pressing the surrender button. Let me explain "Pressing all the buttons" I was rapidly pressing attack and move.

If you were using the lightning ward why move? And why not just pass your turn if you didn't have time to attack? One controlled, thoughtful click of the mouse and you could have waited till next turn to kill the cleric. Either way, you are the noob of the year.

Notice we didn't say "newb", implying inexperience, but used "noob", a term referring to your intelligence, or lack thereof (displayed in the grammar and spelling of your posts).

Jesus Christ, everyone HAD to flame him? I mean for fuck's sake, he made this thread in hopes of hearing other similar experiences. Distractions happen and in this case it was an extreme one that caused him the game. So???

Maybe he was in a conversation at the time. Maybe he lagged and before he knew it the time meter was down to 10%.

And who the hell cares if it is newb or n00b? Not every single dork out there realizes the difference between the two so stop giving the guy trouble and go read study g33kd0m words.
