Ambushor!

Ok people, well remember last summer when tactics had tons of good players, pancho54,stuart_chant etc. That was back when we had the old school is what we would call pieces you know dsm, dragon tyrant etc. but know we got the amubushor. I've beaten everybody I have played except people who have a ambushor. I think that ambushors are a cheap unit and it should of never been made. They were made for turtles but no, they cleric killers and anybody can win with it. I think its a cheap piece and should be taken away from tactics. I know i'm kinda whining but gosh it just bugs me. thanks for listening.

im using a 'busher right now in a anti-rush, you dont need it to be a cleric killer, people jsut paly it that way

depending on their settup i either use it as a cleric killer you a middle of the board hitter, i agree its a very bad peice but its so overpowered that you should have it. i wish it was never made but i still use it

I dunno, maybe a reasonable compromise would be to make the GA attack a LOS attack. I was in a grey v. grey game today where the other guy tried to kill my mage with his assassin, which I shot to death as it ran away after I barriered. Then the guy barriered one of his DMW's and clustered everything together near his LW as we traded shots to the fronts of each other's knights. I got fed up after several minutes of it and asked, "is this why Seed made the Golem Ambusher?" He didn't reply and kept shooting arrows at my knight. It took me a few feints and the sacrifice of my assassin and knight before I eventually won with 8/10 units, but damn did it take a long time!

The ambusher is not at all overpowered if it doesn't kill the cleric. Sure it can break focus, but half the time when you get close you get blasted by an LW or sliced up by knights. But a knight solo can kill an ambusher. Making it an awfully weak unit if it didn't have the ability to shoot it's rocks overhead.

Face it, if the ambusher needed LOS to still kill a cleric no one would use it, and probably dump it. But with it's overhead ability it brings in competion.

It'd be nice if the Ambusher's range was reduced to 5, but that'd never happen. :dry:

Greys can actually protect against ambushers better than golds. If they use two knight and a LW to kill it, or a witch. Or just BW the cleric (if the BW was placed away from any LOS shots).

You can't deal with it, don't play the game. I don't see people complaining about the Queen being overpowered in chess.
