Stat Thingy

Well, im not sure where this goes, so ill just put it here and hope its moved :rolleyes:

I was playing, and I just made a new account on army, Gambit. and a Gold jumped me, his stats were somewere around 1045. After beating him pretty bad, he quit, and I got no stats.

Thats a screenie of what happened. I stayed the same for my hard efforts of getting a grey jumper to stop!

His stats were probably too low for it to affect you.

If you checked your stats right as he surrendered, you might have gotten the reading from the new stat. The lag between when he surrendered (and you got your stats) and when it was displayed on your screen, could allow for you to have /stat'ed and received the new score.

Lag doesn't really work like that. Unless its system lag. Its most likely the prior or what Hellblazer said.

Since The Masta 2 is 1021 stats, and Gambit. was 794, I'd say it's not that one.

Its something else then. Lag still is in order, also he stat'd alot, meaning it was responding quick. Messages still are recieved in the same order.

Yea, its not what Jeff said. It doesn't truly make any sense. Is he in your clan?

Edit: Obviously not.

I can't explain it. I can say for sure its not lag.

Who cares, ill play around, get my stats up, its just a question to see if anyone else noticed it. Probably a one in a million glitch.

I remember making a grey, 750, a gold jumped me, 1000 something, I didn't get anything after I beat him. I didn't think much of it thought for some reason, coz I was on my way to a party and I was in a hurry.

This is an interesting case.

I can't think of any plausible explanation besides a bug in the system somewhere.

Since both cases invloved a less than 800 grey and a more than 1000 gold, perhaps the glitch occurs when there's a specific difference in stats. Or maybe a short range of the stats. This is only speculation, since this seems like a very weird bug.

hmmm i had something simmilar when the message of someone leaving the arena came before he surrendered and i posted that somewhere... it was lagging at that time as well.

This is pretty cool :) Sure I spent time beating on a n00b gold and I apologize for not helping him learn, being the better player, but It was fun, and I didnt get anything out of it - My point is, This is a game that was made as a hobby by Seed, and he did a very good job of it, and any minor glitch like this that occurs so very rarely doesnt matter because he did such a great job programming the game!

I dont think he was getting the new stats cuz he stated himself BEFORE the guy surendered(sp?) as well as after, and they were the both the same.

Im leaning toward the lag option.

It can't be lag though. Even with lag everything displays in order.
