I personally watch it, but I do not like Stargate: Atlantis.

I love the show. It takes all the concepts explored in sci-fi movies, and puts them into one show. Its GREAT!!

okay so whenever my dad and I are watching tv, and get bored we say "hrm, lets see what is on the Sci Fi channel? maybe if we are lucky, Stargate will be on!" because it is ALWAYS on

i LOVE stargate, i think i've seen every SG-1 episode except for season 6, which they don't show re-runs of much :(

Atlantis is still a coin toss in my opinion, it really wasn't good to begin with, but its getting better with time

Stargate is awesome, Atlantis I only watch because nothing else is on at the time. My roommates think I'm retarded for watching SG-1. But then again they think I'm retarding for playing TAO :rolleyes: .

I liked watching Stargate:SG-1 on Mondays since I didn't have anything to watch too often but my mom always changes the channel and calls it crap. Stargate:Atlantis had a good ending to its season so I'll watch the new episode tommorrow.

My whole family is made up of huge Stargate fans. Including myself and glammy, but I don't think she expressed that very clearly.

Stargate SG-1 is very very very good, but I wish that they hadn't of made all those changes to the team. True, things were getting a bit repetetive - and I'm sure the show would have gotten stale after a while if they hadn't of mixed things up. But I do miss the old Stargate :(.

Stargate: Atlantis is also very good, but not quite as spectacular as the original. I like the main characters, although there _are_ a few spots with bad acting.
I think Beckett is my favorite, mostly because of his great accent ><. Weir annoys me for some reason... she's good, but there's just that _thing_ about her. McKay is fun to listen to, but I think he'd be a pain in real life.

I like the wraith as an enemy a bit more than the other ones that they've had previously (on either show). They are such a good creepy!

Anubis was not a real ancient. He was a Goa'uld who was helped in Ascending. When he broke their rules, the ancients half sent him back.

Well, they have a rule that no ascended may help another ascend. The one lady (margy....) helped him ascend, so as punishment for her, they only half sent him back, and refused to stop him from messing with everything. The only rule they had for him is he was not allowed to do anything that he could not have done as a normal Goa'uld lord.

The newest SG1 leave much to be desired in my opinions, although SG Alantis finally seems to be turning a bit back to basics.

Yeh wikipedia has some really in-depth stuff on SG1, if you're into it. You can check out pretty much anything that has ever happened, including characters, races, worlds, every gate address visited, every episode. Lot's of cool stuff if you're looking to kill a little time.
