What's wrong with this thread? Asides from me not interested in the PS3 or Xbox 360 at all, I think it's fine for people that are.

Seems like people often will judge a thread based on the person that started it.

well, I havn't looked at his other posts, and its a topic I'm currently doing a lot of work for :p Me and 4 other writers for my game mag are competing to see who gets to cover the comparison during their release, so I'm constantly looking for info and scoops.

So far...Xbox 360 for me. I like the way its shaping up, even if I won't get either right away on their release because of pricepoint.

360 will ahve all wireless controllers, full entertainment center capabilites, internet access, and Live is supposedly going to be free on weekends so no more paying for that subscription if u don't want to.

I have a ps2 slim version.
And my lack of money means I won't be choosing between those two for a while.
My son has a GBA, but he hogs it and I don't get to play much.

ps3 looks like it has better graphics but xbox 360 looks like it has better games. It's to tough to say which is better cause they both look like great systems. That little gameboy system there coming out with looks retarted though.

I want the xbox360. Not only do I feel currently deprived of an xbox, but it's just all-around nice! It looks spiffy, wireless controllers, better games. And I'll have enough money thanks to graduation gifts. :happy:

I have a ps2, and I find that I don't use it as much as I used to. Just for DDR and a few racing games when I'm bored. And they'll probably have a trade-in so you get a discount like they did for the gameboy. I'll just have to wait a little.

Like the Dreamcast, if the XB360 is released to early it will DIE. Better to release it at the same time as Revolution and PS3. The DC died because of that. Now it's XB's turn. Not that I care... A PSP and a PC with 500 different emulators is enough for me.

you can't judge by graphics, it was discovered that all the PS3 footage at E3 was pre-rendered, so graphics comparisons are out

as for the specs, yeah i'd probably go with the 360 just cause, the PS3 will be cool, but they still haven't worked everything out, 360 is pretty solid though

and the XB will not suffer from the DC syndrome, gamer's are ready for the next gen whether we like it or not, and the XB's tech will not be near the light-years ahead of its time that the DC was, so unfortunately it will survive

wireless controllers: as far as i'm aware all THREE systems will have these

speaking of THREE systems why does everyone count the Revolution out? its the system i will buy, screw the other two

Well I am a hard core playstation fan. That is cuss I think that sony is kick ass and well microsoft needs a good kick in the ass.

hmmm id definetly have to say Xbox 360 because i have the origanal Xbox, i may disagree on the price of it tho haha but microsoft has the games as ps3 like GTA for instance will come out in Xbox but not Halo

I have X Box and Ps3 and PS2 , and I atend to get a 360.....

Playstation is better because they get all the good games way before X Box gets them!

Game dates is very important....

PS's are way easier to operate....

But X Box has alot of extra's......

And has as much memory as a pc....

PS3 is out, but not is out in America. Although England has it out. I don't know why England has it before us? I know that England does because whe I went there to visit my cousin he has one. So you know I had to get one. They are pritty much likea cross between regular X Box and PS2. Exept PS3 has no where near as much memory as regular X Box.

That thing was just a fan hoax, but the video was pretty sweet. Anyways I'll get the Revo from Nintendo and a PS3 after they fix the faulty first releases of it.

normally, i'm not a harsh guy, ask around the forums, i've been here a while, a few people still remember me, and i think they would say i'm usually a pretty nice guy

zoticus, merdoc. (should i even be mentioning both or are you the same person?) shut up

PS3 isn't released yet, anywhere, at E3 they still didn't have a working model of it because the CELL chip technology still hasn't been worked out yet! the XB360 will be the first on the market, around nov. or dec. PS3 and Rev will follow after about 3-6 months depending upon how fast they get their respective technical aspects worked out

stop lying, it doesn't impress us, you want respect, be real, speak when you have knowledge and keep your mouth shut when you don't (unless you ask for help with something, thats a perfectly acceptable thing to do)

too bad, that woulda be sweet! but it would require a DVD reader and a hard drive (or lots of RAM) faster than anything on the market today

Well the Revolution will read DVD's, but not write them. It has expandable flash memory instead of a harddrive to store the downloadable games and whatever else floats your boat. As for the RAM issue, I hear it will use SRAM which is considerably faster (and more expensive) than DRAM.

Specs aside, Nintendo is still my favourite developer and that's what matters. :cool: PS3 will be my secondary system.

i've heard you'll need an attachment of some sort to read the dvd's (maybe like the remote control for XB?)

but wayf, i think you've summed it up right here, nintendo is still my fav developer too :D
