Anyone know of a pretty much basic APC (I think thats what they're called) I can use for a laptop? It only needs to be powerful enough to supply a Laptop with a power for a few hours during a brownout or power surge. Anything under or around 70$ is Ideal. I dont really know what im looking for when i search for these things. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge could help me out on this one.

Yea, but I don't know how long itll last. Depends on your laptop. Ultra is very reliable. However... won't your laptop battery last a little while?

I assume he means he'll be using it while it's charging.

... uhm, no. More or less he'll be using two batteries. He does not need this, laptops already work when the power is off. The only advantage would be maybe 30min to an hour of more life.
