well i have been training alaric in turtles. i know for a fact that if he said he will turtle then he will. in the both the s/s i don't see anywhere of him saying yes to a turtle game. it seems like to me is that u asked for a turtle game and said use what ever u want and u just battled him even though u weren't sure if he had a turtle setup or not. it is not his falt. plus that is alarics rush setup and away. he only has 2 setups. one rush and one turtle. arm and hammer just don't say anything else cause if u do it will just make it worse for u.

I turted my way into the rankings. Love turtle games, always a challenge. Though, it gets frustrating at times, like much else in TAO. But overall, turtle games are much more fun than freestyle and rush.

I do not believe the story of Jesus having daughter or a wife. Which is almost the whole plot of the Da Vinci Code. I'm not claiming to everything about the Da Vinci Code, I just know what I have seen form the History Channel. I think it would be nice to see the story in the movies.

The author seems to just use a simple rule of"start with what you know, then make what you dont". thats why its a good book(mabeymovie, i want to see it). Take the movie, "The Lord of the Rings" the movie tells more, and is a better story than the book. And if you buy the extended version, it will tell you almost everything that the book does.

Nevertheless: The filmed version of the tale is a better film than the book version is a book, because the storyteller in the film tells the story better.

What's so hard to understand about something written? You can even go back and reread what you didn't get, jeez.

Books and movies are 2 totally different mediums, they both tell a story but they don't really do it the same way... or at least they don't have the same tools to do it. Imho, a movie will never be able to take you into the head of a character like a book can; making you care, identify, etc with a character. On the other hand a book will never be able to be as subtle as a movie can be (it's much harder to be subtle with a book, the information being so up front) or as visual obviously, which should not be underestimated. That is at least the effect each have on me.

But that being said the argument about books vs movies and which is better is ridiculous. The problem is with the fact that one will always come first and the second will have to adapt and recreate instead of having the freedom to use it's medium freely, not that one medium is better than the other. Something a book relies on to tell a story will not necessarily be adaptable to a movie not to mention the age-old issue of fitting everything into 2 hours. A movie turned into a book is... more rare if nothing else but also (going out on a limb here) done by so-so authors most of the time.

The lotr example, personally I find that the books have some very long and boring passages the movies don't but on the other hand the movies don't even scratch the surface of the depth of the character's relashionship with one another.

are you joking? how old is this person that cant read? how the hell do they make money if they cant read? how would they even be able to spend money to get into a move? they cant read the ticket, the price of the movie, they wont be able to tell which theatre its in, and unless you never went to school, in which case you wouldnt be seeing movies often enough that it mattered, how could you not be able to read?

the book is so much better than the movie. they allow for much better sotries, since some things cant be shown in movies, or are graphically not possible at this time. i could get into specific examples ofr lord of the rings, but i dont really want to spend the time.

well someone named livre negged me for my post about reading. he actually made a good point and i thank him for that, something we need more around tao. he mentioned that dyslexia can prevent you from reading, i apologize to and people whom i offended by forgeting things such as dyslexia. however, my intent was to count people without such conditions. these apply to both movies and books. For example the blind can read, but not view a movie. books and movies are both equally difficult to understand. perosnally i agree with Mn, they shouldnt be compared because they are to entirely different mediums and each is more focused on different things.

are you joking? how old is this person that cant read? how the hell do they make money if they cant read? how would they even be able to spend money to get into a move? they cant read the ticket, the price of the movie, they wont be able to tell which theatre its in, and unless you never went to school, in which case you wouldnt be seeing movies often enough that it mattered, how could you not be able to read?

the book is so much better than the movie. they allow for much better sotries, since some things cant be shown in movies, or are graphically not possible at this time. i could get into specific examples ofr lord of the rings, but i dont really want to spend the time.

well someone named livre negged me for my post about reading. he actually made a good point and i thank him for that, something we need more around tao. he mentioned that dyslexia can prevent you from reading, i apologize to and people whom i offended by forgeting things such as dyslexia. however, my intent was to count people without such conditions. these apply to both movies and books. For example the blind can read, but not view a movie. books and movies are both equally difficult to understand. perosnally i agree with Mn, they shouldnt be compared because they are to entirely different mediums and each is more focused on different things.

Let me just completely own you people right now. Anime could be and in my mind defined as any graphic novel or animation based no matter the medium. Thus all of what you define "traditional" animes doesn't include comics such as x-men, cartoons like ren and stimpy, tv shows like futurama, the movie coming out such as the simpsons CAN ALL BE CONSIDERED ANIME. Therefore the most popular show in the world the simpsons is an anime. Pwned and did i forget to say double pwned.

Not to mention whats a manga but a book with well drawn quality pictures. Triple pwned.

All i have to say is the latest online/lan game i got hooked on was a RTCW mod-expansion, Enemy Territory. Its simply an awesome game and if you got RTCW you can just download the expansion. Its an objective based fps game with axis against allies and its just simply awesome.

I recently talked to him on AIM, he will never come back anyways.
