I ask b/c I've been playing for quite some time now,

I played Varsity last two years of HS (Starting CM), leading scorer both years :).

now that im out of school I just play around with the random spanish dudes who creep it at the local park lol ... or a pick up with my old highschool and/or travel team.

I got back into teaching TKD so I dont have as much time now, and b/c of that Soccer has kinda dropped off behind B-ball as my other sport focus.

LAX FTW though.

I did alright on the others, managed a 2070 overall. 660 reading and 610 writing. When I showed my guidance counselor my math SAT, she was like "Oh my god!" and took me to go show the principal. We walk in and she says, David just made an 800 on his math SAT!, to which our principal replies, is that good? :dry: So glad to be out of that high school.

The SAT is pointless. It doesn't prove anything. Colleges are starting to move away from the SAT for purposes of admissions, because it is not an accurate judge of someone's ability to learn. Doing well on the SAT just means you adapted to their style of test and performed well.

This is true, although it's not taken out of their consideration entirely. Grades are probably the most important, combined with the difficulty of classes taken. Colleges like to see that you've challenged yourself, and even a C in an AP class will do you better than an A in a regular one. That being said, I got accepted into some colleges I wouldn't have gotten into off of my grades alone (senioritis got the best of me) because of my SAT scores. So yes, while it may not be as important as other factors, a good score can really bolster your application and get you into places.

Soccer season ended on Friday.

We made it to the regional finals, but lost.

It was 2 - 2 at the end of the game. We lost 3 - 2 at 4:32 into double overtime.

It was by far the best game i've ever played. We had 20 juniors and 2 seniors.

I just wanted to let you know.. i'll be more active now.

You know, we need to start a clan called "Village Idiots." We can loan out ourselves to different clans and satisfy their needs for one, although most clans have more than enough of them to need our services.

I just joined SI a couple days ago. Just droppin' in to say hello.

For those SI'ers that aren't aware, if you have a grey in SI and reach at least 1200, I will sponsor you for one month. Then, based on your activity or lack thereof, I will cancel or continue the subscription.

Right now there is an SI gold for those people who don't have access to the leader account, but are long-time members. PM me here or on 4th if you'd like the password.

I am also looking for some people to practice with me. I upgraded my account, but have very, very little experience with gold units. I would like to practice both freestyle and turtle. Again, PM me here or on 4th if you're interested in helping. :)

EDIT: FL, two Insomniac accounts were created. The banff one, which I created, and the Great Lakes one. The Banff Insomniac is the one at rev and the one you have access to... totally different password from the Great Lakes Insomniac account.

Can I get an invite on Rev sometime? I'm tired of logging in every 3 months and not being in a clan. KB needs a home again. Besides, it's a lot easier to cyber over clan chat.
