its not TAO related so its fine here... it is a way to organize contacts... its just the standard type for electronic contact organization....

It IS tao related. An option in your profile is to allow vcard download of your information.

A vcard is basically a file with the information you select to put into it, including email address, name, aim and other IM's.

It allows people to download and have all your information you provided available.

Its only TAO related because TAO has forums, its truly general forums related. Therefore it isn't really TAO related, considering TAO is just a game. Don't want to argue semantics though.
