Yeah, that’s right I made a completely new thread to post the results. Congratulations to all the winners.

Most Humorous Poster:
This award isn’t just about a member who makes us laugh, it’s something more than that. To receive this award you have to be more than just the ordinary laugh, you have to be a “lol” or “rofl”. The nominees for this award were Rabi En Rose, Hugh Junit, old_man_killer, LondonJack, Amaroth, wet, The Cheat, Diana/Legolas, Northwind, insignifiGant, and Wurtil. Though all of these members were funny, the award for Most Humorous Poster goes to Northwind.

Most Friendly Poster:
This award goes to the most friendly poster. To be nominated for this award you’re obviously a friendly guy, and are often spotted helping out newbs. Unfortunately, there is only one member who would allow us to “bite off his leg and when we apologize five seconds later, he would say everyone makes mistakes”. I’m happy to give Wolfman the award for Most Friendly Poster.

Most Intelligent Poster:
What does it take to be considered “intelligent” in an online community? Ask Northwind, as he now hold his second award for the night as Most Intelligent Poster.

Most Missed Poster:
To be a Most Missed Poster is a true honor, unfortunately the winner of this award is most likely not going to know they won. Either way I like to present Snarr with the Most Missed Poster award.

Most Disliked Poster:
To be nominated for this category sucks. It means you’re hated by most of the community, or at least one of the judges. We all know there is only one person who deserves such an award. I personally think it’s Frylock, but that’s just me. The majority of the Tactics Arena Online Community voted that Krome is the Most Disliked Poster! Who would have thought?

Most Popular Poster:
To be popular in an online community, you’ve got to have respect, courage, and brains. All of which Krome lacks. There is only one name on these forums that EVERYONE knows, and that name is Jeffery, the Most Popular Poster.

Best Spammer:
There was some confusion to this category. Some people thought by “Best Spammer” we meant “Person Who Posts the most shitty stuff ever”, but we really meant “Best Post-Whore”. The winner of this category goes to 9,999 – Bottle! Wait, it’s a tie, both Bottle and Omega_Paladin will share the beloved award of Best Spammer.

Best Thread:
To be the best thread, you have to be better than the rest. Winning by eight votes, S_K_O_F’s Random Discussion Thread is the Best Thread.

Worst Thread:
Rate the Signature Above You is a good thread, so back off. Luckily, the Tactics Arena Online Community realized that and voted “A Poem to Tactics Arena!” the WORST thread. Congratulations.

Best Username:
I always though Sir Vival was a kinky username, but apparently our beer loving Hugh Junit proved me wrong. Very wrong, winning by seven votes! Hugh Junit is the winner for Best Username!

Best Avatar:
Stick figures rule. Duffman now holds the award for Best Avatar.

Best Signature:
To get this award you have to have received perfect 10’s in the “Rate the Signature Above You” thread every time, or you could just have a damn good signature and never post in that thread. This award goes to two members, Duffman and Glamdring now hold the Best Signature award.

Best Custom Forum Title:
A good Custom Forum Title takes time, brainstorming, and more time. Snarr now holds his second award of the night, Best Custom Forum Title.

Most Deserved of Modship:
The most evil poster on these forums, yet one of the most helpful. Jeffery now holds his second award as Most Deserved of Modship, even though he would never accept it.

Sorry for the double post, but I would like to add in all seriousness that I generally don't like these sorts of "contests." While it is gratifying to be recognized, it also reinforces the already annoying hierarchy of posters (as does rep) and limits the appreciation for all that the various members of the community have to offer.

I have laughed out loud at a number of posters' comments and appreciate the variety of comments that people make. Like Alex Lowe said about climbing -- "The best climber is the one that is having the most fun.", the funniest poster is the one who is making the funniest comment at that moment (and so on for the other categories).

TAO General Discussion would not be what it is without the contribution of all of the members (and yes, I'm even refering to the Krome's of this world).
