Beast Rider

Is it just me, or does beast rider really stink? The 2 times I bothered to use him, I managed a total of 4 attacks before he was killed. 3 of the 4 were blocked!! once by a witch from the side, once by a witch from the front, and once by a pyro from the side...!!!??? And when he did succeed in hitting someone, he did pretty pathetic damage...

One word: noob.

Practice using him and he'll be one of your favorite units. Trust me, he works great. Give him the stone golems armor upgrade, and he is a force to be reckoned with.

Honestly I wouldn't know seeing as how I lack the funds to be a gold member...:(

I'm not Gold and haven't used one myself, but I have played against some.

It is essentially a slightly more powerful assassin with a different (but equally useful) attack pattern but with lower blocking.

Certainly it’s not a powerhouse like the Dragon Tyrant.
However, I don't think Seed is planning on making every new unit more powerful than the last. He is making balanced units.

With the beast rider, you're trading some blocking % and the friendly step aside for more hp, power, and a unique non-magic attack that can hit defended units.
