Bribery works well.

i dont hold back. If you see a move that looks good take, and dont wste time thinking about how it will affect you seven or eight turns later. i do this and my record is 18-0-0
and i havent been killing newbies or using F5 to get it i won all of mine legitimatley

Take out range units first. Melee units can always be dealt with later. Plus, using paralysis can also help taking out the melee units, but only once the ranged units are gone and can't disrupt your focus.

Attack whatever you can.
Use pyros to do as much damage as possible.
Don't press F5.
Don't push Alt + F4.
Don't say assassin during a game.

That's all I know.

Small pick at here. Don't just throw spead out damage with them. Set them up to pick off weakened units or use them in pairs. Spread out damage is a waste against a cleric.

That said:
Focus on killing their units one at a time.
Pick off ranged or weak units first when possible.
Don't go near the LW unless:
Your unit can take the strike AND another attack elsewhere
You can kill a more important unit that same turn
The LW already fired earlier
You're foolish
Don't attack the LW. Period.
Oh and lastly, ALWAYS fear the enchantress.
