Using the Dragonslayer Formation Notation (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=538) this formation looks like this:
C5C0
L1C0
K1R1
W1L1
K2L2
K2R2
S3R2
A3L2
P4R3
P4L3
I just dubbed it "Arrow" because its Dragonslayer did not name it. After a few games, I moved the Witch to 3L2, so the knight could protect it from arrow fire. To customize it to my own style, which usually finds me in an endgame situation, I took out the left pyro and replaced it with a barrier ward, by the cleric. After playing a few games and moving the pieces around a little, I have discovered that the problem with this formation is that it is vulnerable to an attack from one side or the other. I have almost always lost games when the opponets forces are concentrated on one side, espeacially the left. With 2 knights, the right is harder to penetrate, but it cannot stand up to an entire team.
However, when I am up against a team that is particularly spread out, it works very well. Unfortunetly, because both the assasin and the scout are back in the formation, it is hard to eliminate the enemy cleric early on.
What do you think? I am relitivly new to TAO, so any comments would be welcome.
