This would be a female sorcerer.
Hp: 30
Attack: --
Armor: --
Movement: 3
special attack: Moves any unit within 4 suares of her up to 4 spaces.
Randomly, everytime she can take an action, she has a chance of gaining an unblockable attack of 30 for that turn.
just a basic idea...go ahead and tweek it.
Sounds interesting, but I think you mean "teleknetic", which means they can move objects without physical contact. Telepathic means they can communicate from one mind to another. :)

Anyway, i realize i left out a good bit of info, so...
she will have no blocking.
And with the random damage thing:
This unit is kinda modeled after Jean Grey. The option to actually attack a unit will only appear every so often. So it adds alittle more luck into the game. You will be able to tell if she's gonna deal damage that turn. But only when that turn begins.

Or, to make it a bit more interesting, let the unit control an enemy unit (attack, heal, move, etc; more like being telepathic) on the board and have it do it's bidding as if the other player was attacking his own troops (or, to make the attack better, if that attack seems pointless, let the controlled unit's recovery time increase by one after the control).

but with that, could a telepath overtake an enemy cleric and heal his army or would the controlled units be limited to their normal abilities, I think the telepath unit, since very effective should only be able to manipulate physical attack, with 1 turn waiting, or any charachter with a 3 turn waiting period. also for appearance measures, i think it would be awesome if he had a body suit with the open face and scalp like Gambit, but like an assassin patern to it, mostly black bud the colored area like the assassin's suit. his hands should appear to have the two fingers and his commencement of his abilities should be the two fingers to his temple and a white spark once on him and once on his victim inticating the control with a small colored light, whicever color the telepath is on.

If the telepathic unit took control of the enemys cleric then I feel that they should be able to heal their own units...that only seems probable.

So the unit would then technically for one turn be on the opposite team rather than mind control, the unit isnt switching sides it being controlled, it should be limited to its regular abilities excluding physical atack or have to wait 3 turns

Seems a bit overpowered... take for example if you had more than one of these, talk about some major damage. Having it take control of a cleric and a LW you could destroy half their units. All while healing your own... without even moving one of your units all the way on the other side... ;)

I agree thats why i said the telepath should be limited to manipulating only physical attacks, anything else and he'd be overwhelming... nice bubs by the way im a huge Homestarruner fan myself

here's an idea...
The unit is switches places with the unit it takes control of...
you take control of a knight... so, your opponent gains control of the telepath, you'd have the knight for at least the recovery time of the telepath and then... if you kill the telepath before the recovery is over, you would keep the knight permanently.
the idea is that you can take a unit... but when the telepath recovers... your opponent can take any unit you have.
I'd say this shouldn't work with immobile units... and I think, maybe, when you take control of a unit... the telepath and that unit switch spaces on the arena, so you can't take control then have the telepath sitting in the middle of a bunch of enemy units waiting to die.
my idea of the stats:
hp: 35 (takes 2 or 3 hits to kill her)
power:~
armor:~
blocking:20% all around (telepathic shield)
recovery: 4
range of attack: any space in the arena
attack: switches position and control of one enemy unit on the board with this unit.
