For some time now, I've been thinking of a ward of some kind that damages a unit that attacks it, or reverses the effect of an opponent's healing spell on a target. I'm leaning towards the first.

What if no one attacks it, wouldn't it be a completely useless unit?

Or, to be even better, an ability that would make some units counter-attack in some form and block partial damage, or block all the damage and counter-attack, or take it all and counter-attack ... but then again... casters, clerics, and wards really couldn't do much... this would apply more to melee combatants and scouts... just a thought.
