no, it dosnt have anytihng to do with the DMW

Life: 45
Armor: 0%
Blocking: 70% (35%)
Power: 15 (range 1)
Movement: 3
Recovory: 2
Abbilities:
Phase Trap:
The which docter may set a phase trap in it's attack phase, the trap is invisable to both players and once one is set, it remains till activated or a new one is set

effects: When any unit steps on the phase trap it becomes spirt like, it has its movment reduced to 2 (and gains teleport) and retains full recovry, this effect lasts for 3 turn cycles, while un-substaintial the unit takes no damage, exept from magic (DSM, DMW, pyro, dragon) and cannot be healed barriered or poisoned, and cannot attack

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to make a trap that places randomly on the board. If it isn't randomly placed on the board than the person that places it knows where it is, contrary to the way the unit is described.

And I strongly dislike the concept of a unit that can't be hit by melee and focus attacks. It makes it too ludicrous in the end game.

ok, The trap can be only placed within 1 square of the WD for one
and the insubtantiality lasts 3 cycles, some of which if not all are recovry for moving it once, and it still can be hit by 2 units amost all grays have in their setup and 2 most golds have in thiers

I would never use it considering I could just hurt myself.

And regardless of whether or not it's possible to kill it, the abuse potential is through the roof. All you have to do is kill your opponent's magic units and then he can't kill you. It just doesn't work.

And by the way, I'm not the only one that didn't like the Seed Ward.

for 3 turn cycles, while it cant attack, then it comes out and you have to re walk it over a new trap

Ah okay, I see I misunderstood part of it. I still don't like the unit much though, sorry. Just one man's opinion. I like the Trichondre a lot more.

kyir, even ***I*** can make a better unit than that

ummm, apperently you cant, judging by the poor example you have posted

I like it.

Maybe not the specifics but the strategy behind the special ability is immense. You could use it on your own turn and then walk over it, allowing your unit to now get behind an enemy wall. Or you could play it in a channel and the invading enemy is neutralized until you can deal with it sufficiently.

Questions: Can you play it on an occupied space? If yes what happens?

When a unit steps on it does that units turn end or does it continue to move in spirit form?

Can a unit that is in spirit form be paralyzed?

Is the phase trap the 15 damage attack?

no, the 15 is its regular attack, no it cant be parilized, and the tactics of the idea ar ethe same as my Tricondre, channel them into a undefensable spot, and if played on a ocupied space the unit becomes spirt in 1 turn cycle unless it moves

Sorry but I don't see the connection with the tricondre, I like them both but their totally different in style.

The tricondre allows for you to gain an initial pre emptive attack on an advancing unit, this unit delays an attacking unit, or removes a threat from the blocking wall.

New questions/concerns: Would the phase trap work on wards? If yes then will a barrier be cancelled if the barrier ward goes into spirit form?

Are you concerned about the possible abuse of using mages and then stepping them into a phase trap to keep them protected for the duration of their wait time?

exept the mages can be hit by magic units
no it dosnt work on wards
and its simmiler to the Trichondre in the fact that in... wait no its different, cause you cant see the trap so, never mind
