For you GF fans.

A Vlish a squid-like creature that walks on land, standing on its tentacles.

HP: 30
Armor: none (cmon, its a squid)
Blocking: 40/20%
Power: 16, LoS, piercing, unblockable
Movement: 3
Range: 3
Recovery: 3

Effect: The Vlish shoots a beam of confusing magic that paralyzes all enemies it hits for 2 turns. By piercing, I mean that it functions like a Beast Rider, but in any direction. (ex. 3 units in a line, Vlish hits all 3)

GF again

An artilla is a segmented worm, physically fragile but able to spit streams of acid.

HP: 25
Armor: 15%
Blocking: 20/10%
Power: 25 damage over 5 turns (unblockable, unaffected by armor)
Movement: 3
Range: 4, LoS
Recovery: 1 (nearly same dmg as knight, with less HP)

Effect: The Artilla spits a glob of acid at an enemy. The acid does 5 dmg per turn for 5 turns, regardless of armor. The acid duration can be reduced by 2 if the affected unit is healed.

Tell me if there are any balance issues. I will consider your opinions, and unlike some jackasses who make units, I will not flame responders.

A question or two.
1. How can the Vlish's attack be LoS and piercing?
2. What exactly is the Vlish's attack pattern. Like the Beast Rider or like the Scout?

Just two comments.
1. The Vlish, in compairson to the Pyro (because its similar in a lot of ways), it might be a little overpowered because it can attack for as much as a good Pyro attack, yet also paralizes.
2. The Artilla is another cool idea I think, but again, maybe a wee bit too strong. I only say that because with a recovery of 1 he could deal out almost (or in some cases more) damage than a Lightning Ward, has a further range and 1/4 of the recovery. Yeah, I realize he's affected by LoS and also that your Cleric can heal units, but at best your Cleric can heal every 3 turns, and that also uses up one turn. -- Anyways, just some thoughts/suggestions.

The Vlish's attack passes through any units on line of sight to the target square and damages those units passed through.
A Pyro has a maximum damage of 75 (5 enemies hit), whereas a Vlish has a max damage of 48. Maybe the Vlish should just be LoS.

Effect: The Artilla spits a glob of acid at an enemy. The acid does 4 dmg per turn for 5 turns, regardless of armor. The acid duration can be reduced by 2 if the affected unit is healed. (Shorter range, lower damage, lower armor)

This (http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com/geneforge/index.html) is Geneforge, in my opinion one of the most fun games I have ever played. If you like it, try the demo.

There is also a Geneforge 2 from the same publishers, Spiderweb Software.

I like the revised units alot and there unique ideas i would use them in place of a pyro anyday

Thahd

A thahd is a large, muscular humanoid with thick bones and a small head. (Team-colored skin)

HP: 40
Power: 25
Armor: 15%
Blocking: 40/20%
Range: Melee
Movement: 4
Recovery: 1

Punches a unit on an adjacent square

My idea was to have a faster, more powerful knight that's easier to kill, because knights are a bitch to kill.

That Thahd seems a bit overpowered still, lower the armor or something. The rest of the units that are revised are pretty good though.

How is it overpowered?
It has less blocking, less hp, and less armor than a knight for 3 more power and 1 more movement.

Fyora.
A fyora is man-sized lizard that walks on 2 legs. It is red with team-colored stripes.

HP: 35
Armor: 20 (Hard scales)
Blocking: 40/20%
Range: 4
Recovery: 2
Power: 25
Movement: 3

Effect: The fyora spits a glob of flaming saliva at a target in LoS. Only half the damage of this can be blocked, so it always does 12 damage
