Well, let me say first of all, welcome to the forums :).
Continue making units like this, and you will be fine. This is your first post, and you've done very well in it. The only objections I have is that I think it's underpowered. It's power is weak and it can only move 3 squares, so it cannot flank an enemy. 20 maximum damage for 2 recovery is underpowered too, considering the mud golem is able to teleport 5 squares and do 20 damage for the same recovery.
Question:
LOS still aplies, as you can't hit
through enemies.
So does this mean, the range is not like a beast rider range?
Other than that, a great first unit, and once again welcome to the forums :).

Hm...
The Range is not like a beast rider. If a Pyro is standing behind a knight and the Halberdier is infront of the knight, like this
XPX
XKX
XHX
The Halberdier can't hit the pyro, because if he does, LOS applies and the knight would be attacked instead.
Beeing said that he is underpowered, I think you might be right. I'll reduce his recovery to 1 and beaf up his power a little. That said, it's still more of a defensive unit, its large weapon making it unable to sneak around a unit, so it should'nd flank. It should'nt attack while the enemy still has lot's of units and it could get surrounded and bullied around by enemy units while it can't Riposte. Just like the halberd formations in the middle ages.

Try and use codes when you do that, like this:
XPX
XKX
XHX
It makes it easier to see. Just type [*code*] to start it, then type [*/code*] to end the code (ignore the "*", I only put it in, because it coded my words).

I like the way you back your theories up with information.
ok, as already said, welcome ot the forums, thank god your not another nub, we have a couple here already =P
00X00 X= not hit because of LoS
00W00 W=Wounded becasue of LoS
00H00 Halberider
would the unit wounded (diagram) take regular 17, or 22?
Sence you never stated anything otherwise im assuming no, but I just want to be sure

When a unit would be hit as you stated, kyir, it would take the reduced damage
(otherwise everyone would just target the space behind the ajactent unit and... well, that would make the reduced damage pretty pointless)
