When I'm not playing gold games, I play on the SI Elite gray account in Banff. Something about this account attracts a lot of gray jumpers, up until today I was 4-0 against them on this particular account, and hadn't lost a single game on the account, helping to raise the stats above 1360. I get on today, and thanks to Noda's all-night session :p , the stats are up to 1410. Clearly placing SI Elite in the top 100 on Banff.
I play a few games, then get jumped by a 766 account (apparently a new account, not a new player) who proceeds to catch every block imaginable. Combine that with a fairly good player and the no-drop turtle set I was experimenting with, and I lose about 20 points in the game. So I'm pissed, but shit happens, right?
The very next game, I am jumped by a 1200+ gold named Carnifex. He proceeds to deny him jumping me (despite the fact I had been waiting on the tile for about 15 seconds). He has a frontline bomb that is going to be tough to beat, but he doesn't seems particularly intellignet with his placement of units. I commen that frontline setups usually need a little luck to win, he goes on and on about how he doesn't need luck to beat me, how my stats are going to drop, and calls me a sore loser. Well, fast forward to the endgame, and I have 3 knights (only one full health), lw, and an enchantress(at less than 28 health) against his full health dragon and full health scout.
His brillaint plan is to front shot my knight at 9 health while his dragon recovers and I adavnce my units towrds his (I have the advantage at the moment). Well, I'm sure you've figured out that his luck came to him, that luck he didn't need. Well, a knight front shot, a dragon side block, a scout side block, and 2 knight side hits later, he wins the game. I made one mistake in the game, advancing my enchantress (who had been injured earlier, and I had healed, so I thought she was at full health). My ench died, but it left his dragon in the open. I attacked and had him beaten, until both of his units blocked. Of course he is now cocky and continues calling me a loser, saying his middle name is luck, but his first name is skill, lol. That's why he needed that luck to beat a gray.
The very next game, I am looking to bring the stats back up, and who jump me? Jonix, a 1381 gold who I have played several times on my gold account. He is not bad, but not particularly good, I think I lost a rush game to him because of his luck, but turtles I owned him good. I tell him who I am, and ask him what he is doing jumping grays. He says that it is "nothing special." I convince him to draw (because we were basically at the same rating, me a little higher), so I don't lose any stats. Did I mention that when we started to play, hid dsm side blocked on my first move?
Sometimes, I really hate this game, and then I realize its just the people I hate, and the random number generator.
