View Full Version : Knight Rush vs. Scouts
Collide

I've seen a lot of people who Knight rush the clerics, pyros, and scouts and be very successful. The scout has excellent range and speed, but the knights can block the retaliatory shots. So why is it everyone says scouts are so much better, when an assassin could easily dispatch this?

if you ask me they're both special. the scout has a great range, but the assasin can just as easliy find a weak spot and go right through it fast to the cleric
it's all a matter of situation

I usually leave my assasin back, to sit and wait for a perfect op to break through, and my knights I usually keep close to my Lightning Ward until the game is nearly over.... considering they are usually left against knights or other Non-spell casters....

heh, my assassin's mad more than a few romps through enemy territory, but i find that the scout's range is a lot harder for the enemy to predict the far reaching capabilities of, making it more flexible. The assasin just forces you to always think "dont clump my units"

I like assassins. They're strong and fast...plus they wear tight leather clothing in your choice of designer colors. I like that too. :P

Assassins are good in the time of need. I usually will wait untill the enemy is set up to where the assassin can hit multiple units effectively. I usally will keep my knights back and guarding, spell casters up front for attack, and assassin will usually chill.

I usually spend 1 sometimes (depends on the situation) 2 KaNiggits on raiding through their back area. Knights are nice because they can take a beatin and still plow through stuff. Also a Knight rush keeps them defensive tryin to tie down my knights while i am saving my supporting units for the end game duels. normally in the begining of the end i still have 1 or 2 knights (normally 1 fully healed) a few supporting units and my assasin, scout (sometimes) and cleric (usually for a turn or two to regen my fighters and act as bait) I almost never move my assasin unless some one is just askin for it by showin me the sides or backs of some badly damaged units.

It really matters if ur willing to sacrifice. The assassin can travel faster, but the knight has more def
