I love wierd, simple units. Here's another.
Token of Will.
HP: 600
Power: 0
Armor: 100%
Speed: 2
Blocking: 100%
Range: 0 (2 passive)
Recovery: 2M/0A
Token of Will is immune to attack. It will NOT take damage from ANY other unit.
Token of Will counts as a contraption.
Token of Will may be healed.
Passive Ability: Movement Denial
Token of Will lacks any sort of offensive capabilities. What Token of Will does is prevent enemy units from traversing tiles around Token of Will.
t = token
x = affected square
ooxoo
oxxxo
xxtxx
oxxxo
ooxoo
The premise is simple. Enemy units cannot end thier movement, or traverse through any affected squares.
There are two exceptions. If Token of Will Occupies a Tile, and another unit is already in it's range, it may traverse affected tiles, but it MUST end it's move outside of Token of Will's range.
If Token of Will is paralyzed, it's passive effect is disabled. It will also stop losing HP per turn.
Token of Will loses 10 HP per round (20 HP per full turn). When Token of Will reached 0 HP, it 'dies'.

Great for turtles, and can protect a cleric from knights. Great unit.
Can enemies teleport over the affected squares?

I can only hope that this is a joke unit. Other than that, it seems overpowered in health. And with Full Armor alone is also overpowered to me. If it has full armor, why have health then? Might as well make this unit's health 1 since it can't be destroyed at this point. It's just a powerhouse defensive unit with armor like that.
Overall, I give this unit a 6.25/10. It has creativity and I respect that. However, like I said. With armor like that, it's just a powerhouse defense unit.

Yes, Enemies can teleport over affected squares.
IRT Zhou Yu: I believe you missed the point of the unit. Yes, it has 100% armor, which means units aren't going to kill it. However HP is not used as a measure of life with this unit, but instead, used as a timing mechanisim.
This unit WILL die in 30-40 turns. It looses 20 Unreducable Unblockable HP every round. This means it dies in 30 turns. (The same amount of turns required to force a draw via means of non-contact.). Healing this unit will prolong it's life another few rounds, to an average of 36-38 if healing frequently.
There is nothing defensive about this unit. It's simply a means of limiting enemy unit's movement for the beginning - mid game.

I like the idea, it would be very helpful in turtle games.

That actually makes sence now that you explain why it has high health.

This'll bring back the Turtle formation. Excellent work, Xerent. I like it. 9.5/10.

Is nobody else going to say it?
Well then I will....
great idea, maybe you should put it in your own game.
Really, no matter how great an idea is here, it will never happen. But, you on the other hand have the unique chance to actually implement any good idea you have.....so go do it!

I actually am.
I kind of use TAO as a sort of popularity meter with ideas that I have, see what people like, see what people don't like.
Units that I post here are ones that I've tossed about, but want to get a little more input on in a sort of covert way. ^_^.

The HP time thing is great work, I absolutely love that part of the unit.
I don't think the attack is especially interesting but hey, it would open up interesting possibilities. All in all a good unit, well done.
If you don't mind, I'm going to submit it to the committee. ;)

Go for it!
I like to see detail on what people like and dislike about my ideas. It really helps. ^^

Just read this unit and here's how the attack is interesting. In a rush or turtle if this unit is placed 5 squares in front of the cleric, the GA has no chance.

If the game starts with, say, and enemy lightning ward in range, will the ward be effected? Or will it simply be allowed to pound on the Token of Will? Will barriers at all effect this unit?
Overall, I think this unit is an EXTREMELY creative idea, more so than the usual blunt "super dragons" etc.
Good Job!

if it CANT be effected y does it have such high health,i meen u could only give it 1hp and it would never need healing from a cleric
other than that i kind of like it

Any units in range can either stay where they are and attack, or move avay from the token and attack.
In the case of the ward, it can only attack. so yes, it can pound away at the token.
But the tokens 100% armor will prevent all pounding.
IRT halofighter2: The token takes damage every turn. Read the last few lines.

Does it activate RIGHT away or can you choose when to activate it? Cuase it would help if you got to choose when to activate it cause like if you needed to protect your cleric from knights or something you could activate until you heal, run, or get your people over to help protect your cleric

It says everything in the description.
It activates right away.
