I love themes (see "Morph"). There's nothing that feel quite as good as a complete set of something.

I saw some potential with the Token units, so I'll be doing a couple more of those as well.

Token of Hate

HP: 65
Power: 6 (Unblockable)
Blocking: 100%, All sides.
Armor: 100%
Speed: 3
Range: 2
Recovery: -A / 0M

Token of Hate counts as a contraption.
Token of Hate may be healed.

Token of hate affects every square in Token of hate's range.

When Token of Hate attacks, it affects every square in it's range with pure rage and malice. However, attacking with Token of Hate effectively kills it.

When Token of Hate attacks, all units within range at the time take 5 Unblockable, Unreducable damage every turn (10 per full round). If a unit moves out of range, they stop taking damage. When Token of Hate attacks, the attack is continuous, dealing damage every turn, much like the Poison Wisp. When Token of Hate attacks, it will take 10 Unblockable Unreducable damage per turn (20 per full round). Token of Hate may take Move actions while the attack is in progress. When Token of Hate dies, it's attack stops.

If the attack is in effect, and Token of Hate is then Paralyzed, the attack pauses, and Token of Hate stops taking automatic damage per round.

Sorry, wanted to see if the code / color tags were working before continuing. Shoulda clicked preview.

EDIT: Made a change. I wanted to keep with the 100% armor, 100% blocking theme. So I reduced power by 2 as well, to make it slightly less devestating when it reaches it's destination.

I liked your first token better, this doesn't seem especially useful.

It has 50 HP and takes 20 per turn.

It has limited range, is completely immobile, and its attack lasts for a total of two and a half turns, doing a maximum of 25 damage MAX to one or two units, at the expense of a full unit.

Isn't that kinda useless?...

You forgot to mention the part where it's completely invulnerable until it reaches it's position, and fires off the attack.

It will also last for 3.5 rounds if healed. Longer if paralyzed during mid-attack, and healed some more.

But yea, perhaps it is a stitch weak. It dosen't give much return for the unit slot, as you stated.

EDIT: IRT Lonely Tylenol's argument, I changed a few stats on the Token of Hate. It lasts for a couple more turns, deals slightly more damage, and may be given move actions while the attack is in progress.

Also bumped up the speed, so it can keep up more with fleeing units.

Much better.

Yes, it is invulnerable until it attacks, but it would still be unable to attack or do damage until it took its damage.

I like it now. ;) It can definitely give more bang for the buck, if you use it well.
